Mr Bean is going on holiday to the south of France, looking for a quiet and sunny trip in the Riviera. However, his trip doesn't go as smoothly as he expected when he has to face a series of misunderstandings and totally unfortunate coincidences. Eventually, Mr Bean will end up spoiling the last film of the snobbish director Carson Clay and appearing by accident at the Cannes Film Festival.

I remember when I was a kid I watched the Mr. Bean cartoon a lot and I thought this movie was a live-action adaptation; I didn't know the cartoon was based on the original series 😅

A little fact for non-french people who watches this movie is that the waiter in the train's station restaurant are a very famous french actor called Jean Rochefort who, unfortunately, dies in 2017. And Sabine is also very popular, here in France, and she is Emma De Caunes and she is the daughter of another famous TV news presentator : Antoine De Caunes.

22:35 - Rowan Atkinson revealed in an interview that they had all the cyclists drive very slow and he drove at normal speed, giving the illusion that he was faster than them.

I thought Mr Bean was just a normal comedy actor, but I'm found out Mr Bean is an engineer and a millionaire CEO—you can’t underestimate him 💀and he smart asf.

Sad but true that this is likely the last live action Mr. Bean. The animated version is still going but Rowan has said playing the character takes a physical toll. Plus he believes he's too old to keep portraying him. The animated version though allows him to keep doing it without the physical toll.

4:12 Fun fact: this running gag was actually inspired by the great uncle of one of the screenwriters, who claimed he had no trouble travelling in Europe, as he had “the one essential word in French: “gracias””.

Man they dont make movies like this anymore. I love the ending and how he walks to the beach so much

This movies was my childhood. And even as an adult I keep discovering new things about it. Like the whole character of Carson Clay, I think I didn't really understand the joke of his narcissism as a child

If your guys love Rowan Atkinson's acting comedy.
Then you should watch his dark comedy series "Blackadder".

There Atkinson shows some of his best acting skills in dark comedy. 😂😁

In the US release, there's a scene where Mr. Bean accidentally spilled his coffee on someone's laptop.

@Mylifewithdoves 3 months ago

This is such a good stand alone Mr Bean movie, the first one was great but it focused too much on the American family, whereas in this one he's totally on his own as he can't understand anyone 😂
