i love blideo blames!!!!

The Tingle Tuner was the shit, and it's a crime that they didn't include it in Wind Waker HD. You know, the one on a console with a built-in secondary screen.

12:52 The Guitar Hero grip was sized for the DS Lite whose GBA slot was shorter than the GBA and original DS. It came with an extended adapter for the original DS that probably would fit in an GBA, and is more comfortable for big hands even in a DS Lite.

average Clue video:

- talks about a product of the noughties
- buys tech from the noughties
- it doesn't work
- montage of the tech being fixed and troubleshooted

On the Gba TV out accessory, check to see if the ribbon cable inside has been damaged. I recall seeing theyre folded at a sharp angle inside making them crack easy with age.

Thanks for showing my games, Planet Clue! Great video, and I'm honored to be a part of it.

I really liked the Pump It Up video, sorry the reception wasn't what you were hoping!

the way i kick my legs and squeal in glee when i see a new planet clue upload

The only thing Planet Clue loves more than obscure 90s/00s tech is using the word "esoteric" 😂

When you see how the DS/DSi can "synch" with the Wii and when you saw some 3DS programs being linked to the Wii U there was a clear pattern of Nintendo wanting to mix home console with handhelds thus the Switch.

0:42 I sure love watching my cartoons in 42p

oh mi god it's my favorite Y2K guy that should talk about the GBC ball tag game

Fun fact for the Sonic GBA Chao Game. Some of the gba Sonic games actually had it built in so you could transfer them specifically to those and save your progress. But what's even more neat is that if you own Phantasy Star Online Ep 1&2, there's actually a super secret chao garden game on there you can download that comes with an exclusive chao only obtainable on there which you could transfer to SA2B and SADX [side note JPN versions of SADX and SA2B have ways to obtain these special chao's as well]. There's also 2 different minor versions of the game one that has basic chao care and another that includes swimming/flying. And the first minigame seems to be different depending on what game you link to.

joybus(the controller interface protocol the GBA/GC/N64 use) and mulitboot(sending program data through the GBA link port) are both amazing features of this era and they dont get used enough by homebrew devs

I find it cool how they rereleased Pac-Man VS by including it in Namco Museum on the Switch, and then also having a free standalone app for another Switch to connect without also owning the game, kinda like DS Download Play.

1:49 woah old snapcube jumpscare lol. Penny used that music as her outro a long time ago and for some reason I remember that clearly lmao.

12:43 as someone who had on tour as a kid i can confirm it's the device aging. can't remember ever having it disconnect while playing

The GBA/Gamecube era is my absolute favorite. There is so much wacky stuff that they made that is clunky but the charm is so off the charts, my favorite era in gaming for sure

2:45 speaking of the Wii u it had some fun 3ds-wii u connection with some games, almost felt like a spiritual successor to the GameCube-gba connections. Personal faves of mine were the smash for Wii u controller and monster hunter 3 ultimate; the former just turns your 3DS into a smash Wii u controller, which I unironically used at locals because I mostly practiced and played smash 3ds. Monster hunter 3 ultimate had, in my opinion one of the coolest connections between the wii u and 3ds; since the full game was on both, there was a utility you could use to transfer your save between the consoles! You could be playing at home, have to go somewhere, transfer the save to your 3ds, and then continue playing!

5:32 A Gameboy Player BEFORE the actual Gameboy Player????
