As a Brit that loves a Jaffa Cake, I can confirm the sponge is the right way up. should be flat on the top for your jaffa. Advice is to get the chocolate nice and liquidy and pour it on rather than spread with a spatula! if you do it over a nice open rack with a tray under you get bonus chocolate buttons for snacks later ¬.¬

Quick tips on sleeve drafting! The curved sleeve head is confusing, so here's how it works: take the shape of a sleeve and draw a horizontal line across its widest part, and vertical line down the longest part. This should create a "t" shape. The horizontal part of the "t" should measure equal to the circumference of the bicep when measured at its widest place (aka as close under the armpit as possible). This is called the capline. Remember where this is on your body for later!
Now to the virtual part. The virtical line of the "t" is split into a long line (from capline to wrist) and a short line (from the top of the sleeve head to the capline). This short line is called cap height. This determines the hight of the curve of your sleeve head. You can measure your cap hight by starting the the tip of your shoulder (look for your bone hinge between shoulder and arm bones) and measureing straight down the top of your arm to the place where you took your capline measurement (should be around line 5" I think, mine is like 5.5", though of course it depends on the person).
Once you have cap line width and cap hight, draw a symmetrical sleeve head shaped curve from one end of the capline up, over, and through the cap hight and down the other side.

I saw the final result of the grey dress and immediately fell into 'WANTS THE PRECIOUS' mode. Also, the music during the final reveal made me think that Henrietta finally had a nice dinner at a cozy little cafe in her new dress and hat.

The grey one feels like the next evolution of your fave, and it looks absolutely incredible. I especially love the way the hood sits like this dramatic cowl when you don’t have it up.
