Californian miscreants, SPITE, deal in crushing death metal and raw, explosive extremity with conviction and swinging grooves. Though now located in Southern California, the brothers formed SPITE together roughly a decade ago in Northern California’s Bay Area, the same stomping grounds as thrash metal pioneers such as Metallica, Exodus, and Testament. The band’s eponymous debut was followed by ‘Nothing is Beautiful’ (2017), ‘The Root of All Evil’ (2019), and the critically acclaimed ‘Dedication to Flesh’ (2022). With their fifth album, 'NEW WORLD KILLER' (2025), SPITE fearlessly mines the depths of pain with grandeur, weaving tales of consequence and total violence. Playing tracks off their albums 'NEW WORLD KILLER' and ‘Dedication to Flesh’, SPITE’s Audiotree Live performance blends relentless aggression with groove-driven riffs, channeling the spirited essence of a real band destroying a room. During their interview with Audiotree Host, Jason Nitts, SPITE chats about California’s heavy music scene, their origin story, and the creative process behind their latest record, ‘NEW WORLD KILLER’.
