Interpol on KEXP. Nice way to start a day.

Rest My Chemistry is one of the most beautiful songs ever

Hard to believe they've been making music for almost 30 years!  Paul still sounds bloody amazing as well!!!

Still the ultimate nyc band of this century

Man! Interpol is one of the very few bands from the early 2000s that I still love to this day!
Keep Rocking my fellow New Yorkers! ❤

My cousins wife’s brother is the bassist Brad truax. Met him at their wedding. Super chill down to earth guy.

Embarrassed to admit at 50 years old, I’ve only just started listening to these guys in the last week. They’re new album, This Mirror Weighs a Ton is an absolute masterpiece. It’s one of my top 5 favorite albums of 2026. Absolute Fire!

no way this legends finally get their KEXP performance
What a day

Veterans of the modern rock scene. 25 plus years in business. Highly qualified band that I think sounds even better live. Cool seeing Paul Banks’ humble beginnings in the rock doc Meet Me In The Bathroom. Dude looks like a straight boss

Seeing Brandon and Brad been presented as official members now it is such a relief. They deserved all the respects, jumping into such an incredible project, Matt is doing an incredible job covering Sammy.

Following and listening to this band for more than 20 years. It makes me so happy to see them looking so hot and making some of the greatest music of their career. Titan of a band!

Bass sounds so damn cool on this mix.

it feels like listening to a record, what a voice

Wings on Fire sounds incredible

It’s only been three hours since this KEXP session was uploaded, and I'm already sitting here covered in goosebumps. This sound instantly catapults me back to the 2007 Hurricane Festival. It was the first time I ever got to experience Interpol live.
I still vividly remember the cool air, the mud in front of the stage, and that incredibly dense, melancholic energy that took over the crowd the second they started playing. Paul's unmistakable voice and those cutting, hypnotic guitars burned themselves deep into my musical DNA that night.
Now, almost 20 years later, seeing and hearing that they haven't lost a single drop of that dark magic and precision is just overwhelming. The band has grown older with us, and their live sound might feel a bit more seasoned today, but that deep, untouchable soul is still exactly the same as it was back then in the northern German rain. What a brilliant, intense session—an absolute gift for everyone who has carried this band in their hearts for decades. Thank you, KEXP!

I love interpol, I saw them in 2007 , just before my daughter born, I cry a lot of joy, glad to them to be back, great sound always

Yessss! One of my favorite bands ever. They feel like danger and joy and sadness and a call for help. Thanks for the music!

So unique sound… very grateful for these guys keeping loyal to their sound for so long.

Amo en lo que se ha convertido Interpol en 2026. ❤️🇲🇽
