I wanted to add that the sparkling thing was done wrong in the movies, in the books it’s described as such a blinding light, that Bella thinks Edward was on fire  when he first shows her, leading to the theories that vampires burst into flames when in the sun, but in the movies they just sparkle.

Despite the cringeness of the love story, i will say the vamps and wolves are some of the most unique and best looking.

I won't lie, I'm definitely the type of guy who used to make fun of my sisters for loving Twilight so much. But when you look at it from a lore perspective, it's actually very rich and interesting.

Their skin is only soft to other vampires; to humans, it feels as hard as stone. A human kissing them, for example, is not fun and can be painful, hurting the human. All of this is explained in the books.

I saw the title and thumbnail for this video and almost immediately scrolled away. Then I saw it was from Cogan Lollins, so I will watch it.

I thought imprinting wasn’t a choice. I remember Jacob saying multiple times Sam and him didn’t have a choice

Just a minor detail but there are actual werewolves in twilight but theyve been hunted into extinction by the volturi thats why when theysawthe shifters they accuse the cullens of consorting with beasts

Michael Sheen is by far the best thing in the entire franchise. He knew what he was into and decided to have all the fun in the world

Their diamond skin also explains the myth that sunlight causes them to burst into flames.
The Quileute Pack can't choose who they imprint on.
Bella broke her hand because she doesn't know how to throw a punch.

It was explicitly stated in the books that female vamps can't have kids because pregnancy requires the body to go through a LOT of changes in sequence over a period of time taking months and their bodies are frozen in time. Males can still father children because they still HAVE all the bodily functions necessary for sex, like females, and the act of sperm production is something that is done on a constant basis throughout a males live once they reach sexual maturity. So if a guy was fertile as a human he will be as a vamp, if he wasn't then he won't be. It's just something that RARELY comes up because 99% of the vamp population feeds on human blood and that means physical contact with humans triggers their feeding instincts for them.

It took him 5 years to finally talk about Twilight. I never thought I'd see the day

Michael Sheen then also transcended from vampire to angel.

No one’s gonna read this most likely but I thought it was super rude that Edward didn’t just let Bella lie and eat the food his family was cooking for her instead of exposing that she already ate, preparing a meal for someone is one of the most basic and fundamental forms of hospitalities in many cultures and he just put her on the spot like that to basically be the reason that they now feel awkward about it

8:48 from the books, alice also was said to have had some type of supernatural ability to sense things

Just a fact check: imprinting is an involuntary process, they don’t get to choose, few examples: Sam (pack leader) dated Leah, her cousin came to visit and imprinted on Leah’s cousin, relationship ended not long after; Jacob would have immediately imprinted on Bella given the chance, but didn’t/couldn’t. 18:50

One thing not mentioned in the movies about the shape shifters: Women Shape shifters cannot have children. It appears that like a vampire, once one of them shifts, their body freezes in time. Leah stopped menstruating altogether when she changed, thus, she wasn't able to have children. Only if she stopped changing and aged again.

Just cuz it’s you fam

6:36 no the throat burn is always there it just intensifies if they don’t satiate it

Odd enough, I actually have a soft Spot for the Twilight series, whenever it was just me and my mom while my dad was away for military duty, my mom would have me watch the Twilight series for a good laugh every now and then when I was little.

Me: "2008 will be always remembered as an historic year in the vampire genre"
Twilight: "Thanks!" 😎
Me: "I am talking about the other guy"
Let the Right One In: "Hey!" 🥰
