unfortunately this video did get taken down. I had to re-edit and upload this video because it got blocked in almost all countries so nobody could watch it. Sorry for the delay but I hope you enjoy as I put a lot of effort into this one, its the longest video I have ever edited! ALSO I realized I misspoke and said the symbol on Orlock's coffin and wax seal was a pentagram when its actually a heptagram which is associated with witchcraft. this goes along perfectly with him being a solomonar.

"You must bounce on  it crazy style"

Moral of the story: don't Jack it off to evil spirits when your a young witch, because you probably gonna summon some Taras looking Bulba

Her cutting her hair to put a lock into the locket is not weird it was very common as a token of love or memento mori

I live in Romania, and as a fun fact in romanian "liliac" the flower also means bat its a synonym.

YOU MUST BOUNCE ON IT... CRAAAAAAZZYYY STYLE

I like how in Nosferatu William Defoe plays the Van Helsing character while in the movie shadow of the vampire he plays Max Shrek as an actual vampire

"Nothing but candles and fire lighting the castle"
He must have forgot to pay the 1838 electricity bill

In the german dub he calls her a necromancer. Which is really fitting, since she called a dead being to her side.

I think you're wrong about Orlock not needing an invitation, if anything the restriction is more severe. He doesn't need an invitation to enter your home. He waits for an invitation to enter your LIFE.

Any time I hear the name Bill Skårsgard, I see Pennywise in my head. That character is fucking terrifying, and Count Orlok is a close second.

In European folklore, vampires were described as decaying corpses with rotten teeth. So I'm wondering if that is one of the reasons why they choose this look for Nosferatu.

This guy makes the original Orlok look handsome in comparison

This is my favorite movie cause of how historical accurate it is with the clothes, accents and even the way they walk is so good! Also seeing orlok rarely being seen or blurry really nails how we can’t see him at first and how we only see him corpse like appearance, and that voice and accent old and out of time

Best aspect to me, of the makeup anyway, is how they made Skarsgard essentially a walking, talking but rotted corpse. How an undead being should look. Idk, it was a good touch.

I feel bad that she had to die in the end when all she want was to be with Johnathan, living a simple life.

A pentagram is a five pointed star.
Those have seven, so it is a heptagram.

The point you made about him not needing to breathe to live but just to talk was some really good insight! I never considered that. Nice catch!

You missed when one of the daughters was telling Thomas's friend that she heard "him" breathing in her room in the night

To be fair, When Jonathan meets Dracula, both in novel and film, he can tell Dracula is not normal, but Darcula was not playing his hand as heavily as Orlok who is just straight up ready to show hes a vampire.
