They went 49 games unbeaten

Adrian Durham is such a bitter loser. Total incapable of applying nuance to any conversation. Wenger was objectively 'successful' but also clearly had weaknesses and 'failings'. Durham says you "can't ingore" Arsenal losing one game of football to Chelsea 6-0 but then decides to entirely dissmiss Wenger having have a tight budget to fund the stadium.

Adrian Durham is a specialist in failing as a "Journalist".

Yes, the rest eventually caught up... They did so in suspicious ways. Some used refs, some contravened FFP. Ultimately they'll all be humbled. He's one of the best things to happen to English professional football. He won His share of trophies and played the right way, entertained.

Why have Adrian Durham on this when he’s repeatedly said how much he hates Arsenal & has a bias against them??

Being a United fan, I hated this man but his legacy is unquestionable, played some good football, managed some top players won a lot of trophies and left his club in a good condition with a great new stadium all on a balanced budget 👌 not many can say that

Adrian dumbham the gift that never gives anything

Glad to see folks calling out Durhams hatred for Arsenal and his lack of realism. Imagine insulting someone with way more football intelligence that most of the talksprt universe… what a dope

He went up against sir Alex Ferguson, a cheating Chelsea in the early-mid 2000’s and later a cheating Man City, all while paying off the stadium doing it the correct way, losing his top players every season but still getting top 4, and winning some trophies. His legacy is set in stone

When Arsene Wenger left Arsenal in 2018 he had as many FA Cup trophies as Liverpool football club.
But apparently not a successful manager.
That’s before you mention 3 PL titles including the invincibles

3 league tiltes is not a failure 7 FA cups not a failure could he done more yes, but if your judge as a failure winning at that, then Alex Ferguson only won half the league titles he managed in what failure 😂

We didn’t have the money to spend

Steven Gerrard, Arsenal are the real victims of these 114 breaches

Adrian Durham you do know >>>>>> WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS so Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

WENGER HAD TO SACRIFICE BUYING TOP PLAYERS BECAUSE HE HAD TO PAY FOR THE STADIUM.

Durham should stick to reviewing Greggs sausage rolls. He clearly lives off them.

Of course he's a total great. Took the booziest club in England and transformed it, winning the title. He then builds a new team...wins it again - undefeated.
He could have said "writing on the wall with having to pay for this stadium...I'm off" - but he stayed anyway when a lesser manager seeing other teams be easily able to outspend him (well, mostly - one couldn't, but cheated to do so...) would have been at Real, Barca, Inter, Bayern, France or ANY top job. Because they'd all have taken Wenger.

Not even a debate here, really. Just "should have won a CL.." - which he would have done if Henrik Larsson wasn't the sub from heaven for Barca.

I love George Graham, but he was on the decline in terms of winning league titles. He sold our flair players and got workhorses in. So Adrian claiming George was on his way to win (presumably) the big trophies is nonsense.

Only 3 titles in 22 years?! Anyone would think he won double digit titles!

The new stadium vision was an amazing thing.  If not for it we would be struggling.  Think it’s unfair to see him this way.  There was no money to buy players,  had to sell every season.   If there was money for him we would have stayed at the top for sure….
