Useless fact : They used on the shiny Luigi on Luigi's circuit a low quality image of the sky to be reflected on the model instead of baking real reflections

I had no idea that the pirate ships were actually 3D models. That makes me so happy lol

I believe they made the Luigi statue the same model as playable Luigi is because of the Mii’s. I don’t remember if you need to unlock or achieve something in game, but you could have your created Mii’s head replace Luigi’s head. Pretty good detail and does save on polys. It’s also for other statues in the other courses that does the same thing (like Mario on the snowboard for example).

1:35 thought you said "than Waluigi's ass" 😂

if you havent made any miis then how tf could you know its always the same...? HUH?!

I swear this game looked better when I was a kid

1:56 This is painted in bounce light reflecting from his green shirt.

12:45 I always thought it was an image on a plane since it's really far away we don't really see it from the side

I've never looked at the crab texture, but I'm assuming the texture just mirrors right down the center. In my mind, I believe the yellow on the claws are bleeding onto the teeth texture. The uv mapping for the claws are most likely directly next to the face texture, and given this game appears to use DXT1 compression, it wouldn't be a surprise to see this bleed over. For example, alot of the low resolution logos for 24-7 in GTA V show this bleed over when the contrasting colors meet an outline.

YEAHHHHH I LOVE TS THANK YOU!!!! Unironicly dude this is just such a good watch thx❤

Yes another video ❤

First to the Green Mario vid

I just realized not only are these videos similar to Boundary break but also How many Tris.

I can’t wait for Daisy and Rosalina! They’re my favorite characters

I'm surprised you didn't mention that weird miscolored (mistextured?) triangle on the low-poly baby Luigi model. Obviously you'd never be able to see it in game, but still.

Donkey Kong tracks soon?

What song did you use in the background at the beginning of the video?

Please add Yoshi and birdo😊
And King boo and Bowser and junior

Aren’t they still modelled / textured when you say they aren’t textured / modelled from the back? I assume they just choose to not render that part.

First to the Green Mario vid (but louder)
