wario stadium is the worst because my friends would lightning me on the jump and send me back half a lap.

rainbow road looks so cool but ngl 2 laps in i lose all motivation to continue living

The track lengths can also be found in game if you look at the time trial records

It's amazing how well the first 3D Bowser's Castle still holds up. They nailed their first attempt and it's still one of the best Bowser Castle tracks.

28:45 “not a lot of great Mario 64 tracks” while you’ve got almost every track above B lmao.

Never seen someone play this without jumping and drifting...

I didn't realize till I went through and did a completion run of Mario Kart 64 recently, but on each CC Bowser's Castle adds a thwomp in that corridor with the two chasing thwomps. 50CC has 1, 100CC has 2, and 150CC with 3. Kinda crazy

Strong disagree on Sherbet Land.

How can you call that ugly? The ice, the cave, and those glacier looking hill structures are so interesting, and even the water diffferentiates it from Frappe Snowland and adds depth to the design of the location. I love the moving penguin obstacles and the pillars in the cave.

Where does this track go? That's right, it goes in the B tier!

Bro hasn’t drifted once and put one of my favourite tracks, sherbet land with its beautiful candid landscapes,  in the d rank.

It's specifically called DK's Jungle Parkway because each character got a level named after them.

I always struggle taking assessments from people that can't use the game mechanics (not one power slide in the entire video), but this was still a decent assessment.

Moo Moo Meadows is the better track, but Moo Moo Farm was the one that first did the farm theme.
Plus, it was the debut of the greatest Mario character of all time.

Or… the trees in DK 64 looks like the trees from DK Jungle Parkway? Would be quite difficult if the devs from MK 64 were to look at trees from a game that would come out 3 years later

Gotta be honest, I would put Rainbow Road in F tier. It just wasn't that fun to me because the race was pretty much done once someone got far enough ahead. Even the Blue Shell would just get stopped by all the railings.

God bless everyone.

Totally chill for Nathaniel to have his own opinions. Respect. That said, Wario Stadium is way too egregiously long. It’s not better than something like Moo Moo Farm.

watching this made me realize how many mk wii tracks got remakes from this game

8's version of Toad's turnpike is mid but the original is actually one of my favorite courses in the game cuz it doesn't really rely on the layout to be entertaining, but the narrow road and giant cars what combined with the sunrise background is what really make this track stand out to me.

God the music just DOESN'T MISS in this game. So freaking good even 20 years later.

I don't think there is a single bad track in this game.
