This was a long video, but I hope you enjoyed it and learned some info about Street Fighter. Raging Rowen, the original creator, of the iceberg, made an updated version so I might do an addendum in the near future. Anyway, thanks for watching and stay tuned! I got some heat cooking up for the future!

The clip of the Street Fighter 2 ride made me laugh so hard for no reason.

Never did i expect to hear the words "Barack Obama vs Cyborg 009" in the same sentence. Not in a million years.

Fun Fact about Street Fighter 2010:
There's a one-shot side story in the UDON Comics, which shows that Street Fighter 2010 is an actual game that exists in it's canon. Ken actually licensed out his likeness out for the game, and it even featured Cyber-Akuma from MSHvsSF.
It's mostly played for a joke, namely the fact that Ken himself says it missed the mark of 2010 completely.

9:46 Fun fact: Capitan Commando even appeard in "Street Fighter Alpha 2" on Ken's stage, along with the other Capcom characters

Obama: My fellow American, I main Obama in Street Fighter Online: Mouse Generation.

a good thing to mention is that Dark Sakura is a joke, she's also know as sunburnt sakura and taps into Satsu No Hadou when her skin is sunburnt

I have another thing to add for Violent Ken. His stance in SNK vs Capcom is inspired by a mugen character. Evil Ken by the already deceased Reuben Kee.

I've seen Future Cop. It's 100% camp, and worse than that clip demonstrated. Blanka's roll was represented by a flying beach-ball.

Good vid, thanks for making it!

SF6 - Sheng Long will get added, watch it happen

Imagine if this happened with the nameless old man
Ryu: Who are you ?
The Old man:My name is Shen Long

I wish Capcom Canonized "Hoshi" as Ryu's Birthname, since Gouken is his Adopted Dad.

My only complaint is forgetting to mention the Jackie Chan's City Hunter scene where Jackie fight as some of the Street Fighter characters

Chun Tai is the final SFV DLC character

Shadow lady is a playable hidden character in marvel super heroes vs street fighter. As is shadow and even done alternate versions of other heroes and villains

Sheng Long is not a character. It's just Chinese translation of Shoryuken (full translation: Sheng Long Quan; i.e. Rising Dragon Fist)

Not sure what level of the iceberg, this belongs on but this came to mind as you discussed the Nash thing.

Flash Kick was originally known as Somersault in Japan (probably Asia in general) which was probably done since there was no voice clip to contradict and it sounds like it makes sense next to Sonic Boom.

SF5 marks a point when they made the English voice actor say Somersault and have basically phased out "Flash Kick".

On a similar note, the playerbase of SF2 outside of Japan had a different series of terms for buttons which weren't LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK but Jab, Strong, Fierce, Short, Forward, Roundhouse.

It seems to be an English scene thing that was primarily in arcades but it was phased out in SF4 I believe.

One thing I expected to disappear faster was "Raiyu", which may have originated in arcades or from a cartoon but Steve Aoki said it during the SFV Winter Update stream this year. It feels more absurd as he has Japanese parents!

(He wasn't born there though)

I tought I knew all sf lore. U truly are an sf fan.

In 5, Nash went from his Japanese Name, to his Surname.

Great video.  One thing, you said that Shin Ryu is only in Udon - what about his white glow mode at the end of the SFV story mode?
