Would you like to see a video about Hal Jordan's villain arc? (His descent into Parallax, then Spectre and back to Green Lantern)

Krona: *sabatoges the Guardians plans twice causing the deaths of trillions and possibly being responsible for unleashing evil itself into the universe.

Gaurdians: "It's OK, we understand, you're still one of us we can look past this"

Ganthet: "Guys I feel that this might be ba-"

Gaurdians: "You feel? Emotions? GET HIS ASS!"

>rid themselves of emotion
>feel fear
>feel embarassment
>feel pride
is completly nonsensical

once you start reading green lantern comics you never want to stop beating the guardians to death

So the Guardians introduced racism to the Martians.

I love how the entirety of the Goeff Johns run is just the guardians being like "this is a villain from our past... yes, we helped create this villain I fear..." over and over and over again until eventually everyone starts to realize the guardians are the real villains.

They've 4ucked up uncountable times, yet always think they're superior to everyone. And their robot police force metamorphosed into a totalitarian death squad leading to uncountable atrocities. Shoutout to the Red Lanterns 🖤🖤.

I feel that just like Marvel's Charles Xavier, the Guardians were deconstructed too many times to the detriment of the franchise. Guardians and Lanterns having a police chief and cop dynamic gave the ring wielders a powerful check on their powers and morals and could be tapped in for plot points, like using their knowledge to help or to hinder the Lanterns with their secrets.

With the amount of crimes the Guardians have committed that have only contributed to making the universe worse it makes me wonder if Sinestro, Atrocitus and Krona had a point

The guardians really suck these days

If you go back and read the silver age comics, the guardians were way more chill. Not only were they respectful, but they were also totally honest. They were even willing to admit their mistakes when they were wrong.

> Lie about everything
> Claim to be emotionless
> Make some sort of force
> Make mistakes causing trillions of deaths
> Punish those who clean up their mistakes
> Repeat

they kept "Logic and Reasoning" but took out things like, Compassion, and Empathy, and Understanding your Neighbour, and in it's own way. Wisdom

It's ironic how the Guardians thought that emotion was a weakness while them ridding themselves of said emotion caused them to do more harm than good and create their own problems.

9:36 I love how it went from 'I introduced the very concept of malice from the void' to 'My malfunctioning robots caused multiple genocides' like thats a fair escalation. Its like the vile atrocity verson of peaking in high school.
