Nick Barker makes every band better

My fav albums from Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir and even Old Man's Child have Nick Barker on drums!

“You’re not a team player…you’re a red flag because you want to see the accounts…” goddamn, that was Slayer to Dave Lombardo

legend, hope his health is stable if not improving

It’s a shame that Nick didn’t continue with Cradle, but at the same time we got to see Dimmu have their best drummer and create their best albums because of it

Nick Barker Is a really an Honest man. A TRUE metaller as It Is meant to be

Their keyboardist for “Cruelty…” referred to the band as Dani and the Filths after he left

The Principle of Evil Made Ca$h

I met Nick in Richmond, Virginia in the 90's when he toured with Borknagar.  I asked him what happened with Cradle.  He said nothing, just held his hand about 4 feet off the floor.  I knew exactly what that meant! Haha!

The greatest CoF lineup was, not coincidentally, the one Nick was in.

Nick was the BEST Drummer this band EVER had by far! Best man for the whole genre and an inspiration for Drummers forever!

I actually hung out and spoke to Stewart Anstis in 2021 or 2020? in the beer garden at the cobblestones in Bridgwater at a small local gig can't remember exactly when but it was not long before he passed rest in peace, but I actually asked him more or less a similar question to what was asked to Nick here and he more or less in a vague way said the same thing by saying there is more money to be made in North Devon and he was chilling down this part of the UK doing guitar lessons, being an audio engineer at a venue in Bideford and he had a smaller doom metal band going, seemed really content and happy, obviously the whole money topics have been of high interest around Cradle of filth after recent shenanigans.

Funny thing to note, he never ever ever listened to a cradle song or his own creations after he left the band and 20 years does some crazy things to ones memory and while outside in the beer garden we could hear the playlist music on the PA between bands changing equipment and setting up and Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids was playing and he had 0 idea he was literally listening to cradle of filth or even his own song 😂

Stuart expressed a massive admiration for Nick and also Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth while talking to me about the Cradle and Opeth tour in 97. Incredible people

That exposes the type of person Dani really is, if he cared about the band he would’ve pushed back on corporate and refused to be the single face.

A long time ago, a friend of mine said they should really be called "Dani and the Filths" and I think about that every time I turn on Dusk... and Her Embrace, by far my favorite Cradle record. The band's been a revolving door for decades now; what a shame to treat so many amazing musicians as disposable.

Nick is a machine and an absolute monster of a drummer

Nocturnal supremacy made me realise this percussionist is first class. Legend

Theres an old Dimmu Borgir live of Tormentor of Christian Souls I saw maybe 20 years ago, with Nick on the drums it was thr most intense and mind blowing blast beats that got me into heavier metal.

Holy shit... This guy played in some of my favorite albums and I didn't even know his fucking name.... Damn shame

Yep Nick was 100% right, COF had many line-up changes after that(with similar drama).
Dani is actually the only original member remaining, the others can be kicked anytime.
