Can’t believe you missed Black Scorpion! Former GW sculptor who does a whole range of fantastic hand-sculpted minis. Amazing stuff.

As much as we justifiably gripe about GW's pricing, secondary Oldhammer market can be predatory as well. It's a good thing we have so many fantastic small companies keeping the retro dream alive!

Arcworlde by Warp Miniatures! Such characterful models

Wargames Atlantic, Victrix, Northstar military figures, Max Mini. The historical stuff is all great for Empire and Bretonnian armies

Mantic has in recent years become one of my favourites, partly because of their Warhammer-y armies. But I like how a lot of their stuff has an aesthetic that is both on the Oldhammer-y side, and also very much like Warcraft pre-WoW.

Wow! I didn’t know there were these many amazing miniature companies. This is amazing

Appreciating the shoutout to the Longsnouts - they're the first campaign I ever backed on kickstarter and I'm absolutely in love with them. They're everything I wished modern GW minis were. They're super poseable / customizable without sacrificing even a particle of personality. The artist behind them is currently working on a second wave involving archers & crossbows, but alas we apparently shouldn't be expecting their release until mid to late 2026. I'm really looking forward to it - I'm propably going to build a Kruleboyz army with them once some missile options become available.

I'd like to shout out Dunkeldorf Miniatures! Their range is mostly just townspeople, but they just fit so well into the Warhammer Fantasy aesthetic. Plus, they're cast out of metal, so they have that super satisfying heft to them :)

You missed two big ones for printables - Brawniac makes excellent big hat chorfs, while Monstrous Encounters has all kinds of Heroquest figures plus greenskins, undeads, elves, Bretonnians, tomb kings, chaos, etc. all in the old style.

I was so ready to drop knightmare miniatures in the comments and there they are first on the list 😍 truly some of the best gobbos out there, I absolutely loooove them

Black scorpion miniatures have some amazing minis for games likes mordheim, battlezone-miniatures have a ton of old metal models the barbarians are amazing. A real hidden gem is Forlorn Hope Games old school classic metal models and they are so cheap. A lot of the models are 2-3 pounds each they are a hidden gold mine for building mordheim warbands.

Footstore Miniatures has sculpts by Trish Carden (HarrowHyrst)!

You should consider creating another video with STL creators alltogether because there are plenty of awesome guys you missed that work super well within Old World/Age of Sigmar scale - Vae Victis, Infernal MIniatures, Tytantroll, Last Sword Miniatures - all worth to check out. And there are plenty more, mostly niche creators. I think showing love to smaller guys is always great as they keep releasing more and more amazing minis.

Knightmare and Satyr Arts minis are so nice!

Glad you included Diehard Miniatures. Been a fan from near the beginning. Awesome minis.

Excellent video! I love oldhammer, but it's really wonderful to see ppl use their platform to lift up smaller artists and companies too. I hadn't heard of several of these before. I would love to watch you paint up a few of these. Cheers!

There's some great stuff there! By the way, the Skaven Blood Bowl team on Macrocosm was sculpted by the same guy that runs Oakbound Studio - though the Rat Ogre is done by someone else. He's also done the Swan-Wyvern for Old School Miniatures.
