I test-drove the much-talked-about BYD mini-EV, the "Rakko"!

BYD is finally entering the Japanese mini-vehicle market.

How does the Rakko compare to mini-vehicles from Japanese manufacturers?

This time, I checked out the actual car and test-drove it on public roads.

However, the test drive route was unexpectedly congested...

Although I was on the road for over 40 minutes, unfortunately, I wasn't able to thoroughly test its driving performance.

Nevertheless, I was able to confirm the "quality as a product" of the Rakko, such as the quality of the interior and exterior, the equipment, the build quality, and the quietness, which I could only feel by actually touching and driving it.

And what I felt was that BYD has thoroughly researched Japanese mini-vehicles and is seriously trying to enter this market.
