I would've given an extra win to Jack for his uncharacteristically solemn and downright almost gentle way of telling Elizabeth 'We're not back...' when she sees her father.

15:57 I needed to see a win for "The worlds the same, there's just less in it." That one line perfectly captures the feeling of disenchantment that comes with living to see dark times. When i see negative progression of the world in the news, that's the line i think of. When people are suffering and private power is growing,, the world just feels... less.

One win I see is just an outright loyalty win. During the standoff between Jack, Elizabeth, Will and Barbossa, the second Barbossa points his flintlock at Jack, Gibbs; without missing a beat, is the first to draw his own to counter Barbossa. Will and Elizabeth do the same, but they're doing it for their own reasons, as Jack later states. Gibbs just does it, because someone is threatening his bestest buddy he's just gotten back!

And the next shot we see Gibbs, he's pointing his second flintlock at Will, because that's who Jack pointed his first gun at, for insurance. Gibbs man, Gibbs.

3:54 yeah they absolutely actually caught them, the blooper reel is filled with them missing the catch over and over.

20:27 I love the detail that even after 3 movies Will is still getting compliments for his sword making skills despite his master taking the initial credit back on Curse of the Black Pearl. Haven't seen the movies in a while so I can't recall every time it happens but it's a cool detail

16:55 Best scene in the movie and it was cut:

✨️Peolple aren't cargo, mate...✨️ chilling every time

The finale to the trilogy. Perfectly wrapped up the themes and character developments, and made a masterpiece throughline story. And no other movies were ever made!

Of course lots of people are commenting about the “People aren’t Cargo” deleted scene with Jack and Becket but I also have to mention the deleted scenes of Jones Taunting the Governor saying that Elizebeth died when the black pearl was pulled down, the Governor then attempts to stab the heart which is where we see him discover that if you stab the heart yours must take its place. He gets convinced not to do it by Norrington and afterwards we see Becket decide to kill him. It’s a fantastic sequence which adds more to Norrington’s arc and reduced screentime in this one and has Bill Nighy absolutely killing it as per, the highlight tho is Jonathan price who gets a great moment to shine. I always thought it was a shame they cut it out, I’d definitely recommend giving it a check.

Once again pointing out that there is an actual deleted scene during the betrayal/negotiation between Jack and Beckett that adds so much lore and Background. Jack once worked for Beckett but after finding out he should transport slaves, he betrayed him and set them free ("People aren't cargo mate"). Angered, Beckett then sank Jacks ship, who then turned to Davy Jones who raised it up from the depths as the Black Pearl in exchange for Jacks servitude after 10 years as Captain of the Pearl.

Here's a thought I had about the Mexican stand off scene: was Jack just the first to figure out that the guns would all be duds from wet powder and pulled the trigger KNOWING it wouldn't fire because he needed everyone to get over the situation in a hurry. Because he would have known he couldn't get Barbossa without getting shot himself in that situation if the guns WOULD fire. And Jack would never have risked his own life like that so fruitlessly.
Jack also knew they were never going to TALK that situation down.

I've always liked the story of Norringtons sword. Like the franchise opens with Will delivering the sword, Norrington loses the sword after losing his title/rank/honor, then he gets it back when he rejoins Beckitt. And fully concluded when he stabs Davy Jones "Nice sword"
The  Davy Jones uses that sword to kill Will in the final battle.
Meaning Will made the word that "killled" him

20:28 What I love about this is it's the same sword Will made for Norrington back in the first movie, Davy inadvertently complimenting Will's craftsmanship!

9:00 Oh it's definitely hell. What worse punishment could there be for a pirate with a love of the sea than solitary confinement in an endless desert without a drop of water?

There is a lot of focus on the trilogy about Jack and Will and how Jack basically becomes Will’s pirate mentor but if you pay attention Barbossa become’s Elizabeth’s pirate mentor. It’s cool how much they become more pirate-like through this relationship.

Will becomes faster at thinking on his feet, an improvising, he learns to fight dirty on the battlefield and in the fields of negotiation, and he isn’t afraid to cross people to get what he wants.

Meanwhile Elizabeth has developed skill at negation, manipulation, and strategy. She has also learned a lot of sword fighting, firearms, leadership, and ship captaining since she started.

“Thank goodness for that. Because if I wasn’t this would probably never work” is my top 3 favorite movie quotes of all time

9:37 Unless I'm hallucinating during this whole thing you literally see one or more crabs scuttle back under Calypso's dress

i also love Jack manipulates the pirates court to going to war and appointing Elizabeth the 'pirate king' (since her goal was the same as his)

Probably one of the best opening scenes for  Disney film ever
