Some channel members had been talking about how they thought I'd really jive with this band and they were absolutely right. ‪@BigThief‬ was actually super saiyan mega awesome. I'll definitely be digging in more.

This might be the most beautifully written song I've ever heard in my life

Adrianne Lenker is the best songwriter of her generation.

Everyone talks about Adrianne's songwriting, and while incredible, lets also remember her guitar playing! A lot of people dont point out its her that plays some of these really incredible solos and intricate playing. Buck is well worth mentioning too!

this is so funny bahahah, watching you fight between your compulsion to pause and articulate what you're recieving vs the raw universal instinct to let a song like this play out.

I saw someone else say this so I’m gonna repeat this but don’t take my word for it! Adrianne Lenker had a brother that was sent into adoption whenever she was young, and I believe this song is her imagery of a childhood she could have had with him.

I’m screaming through my phone, “stop talking through the guitar solo!”

Do yourself a favor, listen to the entire discography chronologically. You’ll love it.

Dude some of these references.... I haven't listened to Frightened Rabbits in like 10+ years. Completely forgot about them. Wow, Modern Leper is somehow better than i remembered.

Also, I'm here because Adrienne Lenker is obviously beyond brilliant.
