Many of you felt disappointed about what happened, but in truth, my sister and I were happiest and enjoyed ourselves the most in that very moment.
It was something we could never have imagined if we had not escaped North Korea.
When you prefer unplanned travel, unexpected situations sometimes arise, and for me, those moments often become the most unforgettable memories.

Ina looks like a completely different person from the one we saw in her first few videos!  Oh gosh, she was so afraid and worried all the time.  Now look at her.  Eating, dancing, trusting, smiling.  It warms my heart.  🥰🥰🥰

It Not easy to communicate when you are limited with the language, but you girls are doing great. You are so loved in America, and so many people are so proud of you girls.

Probably, most of us were wishing we could have been there to help. Thank you for still finding joy in the struggle.

Many Americans take our country for granted and we are always happy to have people like you here where you can experience almost the world in one country. If only more people can hear your story from North Korea then maybe they can reflect that not everyone around the world can have the freedom we have here

Today I sit here crying over your words at the end. One can also be brainwashed by an abusive family. Never would I on purpose compare myself to the hell you have endured. Still without thinking about why, the tears came. You ladies are an inspiration.

I was sad for Ina when she posted her video, and you two were not able to get a lot of food, and enjoy the BBQ how you wanted to. This was truly an eye-opening reaction to your mistake. You enjoyed what you had, laughed, and learned. You inspire all of us to be grateful and wise as you two sisters are.

I will never get tired of seeing Ina’s face light up when trying a new food.  And I noticed Hana was grooving with the music almost immediately.   The wholesome queens.  😂

It's so ironic you put up the caption saying "I'm freely listening to American songs that could get you publicly executed in North Korea" and the first lines in the song Lazy Eye by Silversun Pickups is "I've been waiting, I've been waiting for this moment all my life". <3

I have watched all the videos since you two sisters came to America.  It is so nice to see how Ina has changed from being scared of Americans and not smiling very much to smiling and dancing.  And even waving to Americans.  So glad you two are enjoying freedom and your time in America!!!  America loves you!

I work for a Korean company in Tennessee. Sungwoo Hightech. We make auto parts. I love when the Korean workers come to work with us. Such nice people. We aren't different at all. It is fun to see their surprise when they first arrive and make friends with us CO workers.
