Hello! This is Hanaya. 👋😊
Today, I've uploaded a somewhat special video.
It's a video from my first trip to the U.S. 🇺🇸 when I visited the home of a Korean-American.
It's a bit late 😅, but since it was the first American home I've ever visited in the U.S., I wanted to upload my thoughts about it. 🏠✨
I'm really looking forward to what America will show us on our next journey, just the two of us with my sister, Ina. 👭✈
Please join us on our future journeys as well! 🥰

We do not dislike North Korea, we dislike the way the people are oppressed. Forced into starvation while fat boy gets fatter! My prayers are with the oppressed people of Korea.

I was born here , served in our military , I love to see people from other cultures thrive here , that is what makes America Great

That "RUN DMZ" shirt is genius. I love it! Run DMC was a rap music group in the 1990s.

i wish more americans appreciated the freedoms that they have  here and focused more on the positives than the negatives.

Size or style of house is not the key. Genuine hospitality was given during this visit! A home with laughter. Any setting is the right setting for this kind of warmth and welcome. Plus, the farewell from the driveway…straight from the heart!

As an American, it’s a gift to see my world through new eyes.

That house is a normal house for people with above average incomes. It's clearly newer built and of the current popular style. Average incomes are in older houses with smaller kitchens, smaller living rooms.

That's actually a vary nice upper middle class home.  Depending on where your from, I think many of us would like to live as well.  Not everyplace in the United States lives this well.  My home is humble.  I live in a small 3 bedroom house that is just over 1000 square feet.  I'm grateful for what I have.  I also think its closer to true middle class.

Those two Korean-American women were great!  Very outgoing and lively -  very attractive too!

Wow, that kitchen is huge! I would love to have one like it, there's so much counter space.

That's an upper-middle class home. They have enough money to say they're "comfortable", but not wealthy.

Hanaya, as an American without much exposure to  cultures other than Hispanic, I truly appreciate the exposure to the Korean culture that you are presenting... Thank you for that....

My house is much smaller and I love it! America is diverse.

Watching you talk about how free and relaxed we are here, I realized that having lived here my whole life, I've never thought about how freedom feels. I wish everyone had it. We take it for granted.

Nice of her to bring everyone to see how she lives in America.

An ajumma is a married middle-aged woman with the connotation of being wise in the ways of domesticity. The nearest English equivalent is the British word "auntie."

This house is definitely fancier than the average American home.

My husband and I have worked our entire lives and we have a very small ranch home that we can afford this house is in the upper class region of people, most certainly not the average size home that your typical hardworking American can afford

I would say that’s a VERY nice home, a home for people with  relatively large salaries ($250,000+K) more than absolutely typical. But there are a lot of big earners in the USA.
