Great content! You really covered all the bases. I think many novice weavers (like myself) don't consider body size in relation to loom size and how it affects function and comfort. Thank you for putting forth a logical outline of considerations. Your videos are always informative and inspiring.

That was very interesting. I have the Ashford Jack loom which I like a lot because it is very straightforward to dress and use, although the shed is quite shallow and the treadling can be heavy going. I am pleased that I used an Ashford Table loom first to get the hang of warping and dressing a loom and I still use it now and again.

I would be very interested to see your review of the dobby loom. Another vote for that from me 👍. Thanks for posting this video.

Also, Gilmore looms. I am considering a Gilmore loom. They are well made. I seem to be stuck in my that I would like a 30 inch loom. It is the middle ground of the usual offerings of 26 and 36 inch looms. Gilmore seems to be the only one offering such a size. I don't have room for a 36 inch loom. I compared the Gilmore 30 inch to the baby wolf that only gives you 26" and the exterior sizes of the looms are actually very close. You lose weaving width for the ability to fold the loom up.

My first floor loom was a 60" LeClrec Nilus. I got a good deal and I didn't know anything about looms. It was a great loom and I loved it, but it was WAY too big for me. I'm 5'2". There was no way that I could throw/catch a shuttle across that. Also, the shafts were very heavy to lift. I sold it to someone that loves it.
Now, I have two Schacht looms. A Baby Wolf and a Mighty Wolf. They're more my size and they fold which is nice. I love them both.
