Thank you! Your objective review, with detailed explanation, is very well presented.

Thanks so much Kelly for this video describing the loom. I am considering getting this. I don't think I would use the "Rigid heddle" portion but rather just the 4 shafts.

I just got my Lojan Flex rigid heddle loom and will be putting it together watching your video. Thank you for the detail review as I was thinking of purchasing the 4 shaft conversion kit as I get more experience in the future. I did notice that the beater for the 4 shaft now looks more like a round rod rather than the squared beater you have. Perhaps that was an improvement they made? Thanks again for all the videos and the courses you offer online!

Thank you very much for your review. I like this loom a lot, but not the beater, I still haven't found how to use it comfortably... it really is wobbly - huge contrast to the overall sturdiness of the loom. I bought it for smaller projects and for my son who wants to learn weaving, but I must say I'm more the floor loom girl 😂

Cuánto vale y dónde lo puedo conseguir??

I was wondering about the longevity of the elastic shaft cords. Elastic these days does not seem to last very well, mostly coming from China and produced as cheaply as possible with no regard to lasting long.

I have an Ashford 8S table loom. It has an over-slung beater that doesn’t give the firmest beat if used normally. I find that if I firmly press the weft into space, rather than beating sharply, I get a better result. Do you think that would work with this loom

Hi Kelly, what is the weaving width of the loom. I really like your pattern that you're weaving. It's beautiful❤

Hi, Thank you ~ This is helpful with my new loom :) Do you know where I can get lots more texsolv heddles - or what size that works with these looms that might be a different brand (don't know yet if Revolution Fibers has these yet). Thanks so much!

I've only woven on a rigid heddle loom. I have a maybe a 30 degree angle on the weft before I beat. I notice that you beat your weft on a much shallower angle. Is the angle you use dependent on the weave structure? Loving this new channel, by the way.

Thanks for the great detailed review and demonstration. I was curious to hear about your experience with that style of beater. By the way I had to restart the video because at first I was so taken with your cute top and scarf combination I realized I wasn't paying attention to the audio. LOL!

Hello Kelly, thank you for the great review. I just received my Lojan loom. I got the 8 shaft conversion with the floor stand. I haven't put it together yet, but I saw that you have a video about putting it together. Woohoo. I also got the floor stand. I had concerns about the beater also. I'm wondering if you could attach the bottom two wooden dowel ends of the main beater to the stainless steel beater frame somehow to stabilize it. I was looking at it sideways from my view on the TV and it was just a thought. Let me know what you think. Thank you for the video

Hello,

I just bought this loom. Im weavingvwith 10/2 cotton at about 25 epi in the warp. And I want to beat to 25 epi in the weft.

But tge heater bar is do flimsy, it just falls off. The most I can get to is about 22 epi. But 20 is more reasonable.

Unless a way is found to keep the beater from falling out of the loom, I would say that this loom is not well suited to tight beats, i.e., dense fabric projects. Which I associate with finer yarn projects, personally.

But I only just started weaving on it. Maybe I missed something in the assembly??
