14:17 cool fact: that's my canoe

Jay's canoe is, at that point, frozen under an entire layer of ice and snow; he assumed that one of the elves stole it at some point, which prompted him to just ride off with mine while he was down at the elf village

getting that thing back was an needlessly painful process

Funny timing he just released a new vintage story video a couple hours ago and started streaming vintage story 10 minutes ago

"Maybe you should lie down."
"No, I'm ready for Omok."

Even when drunk, Jay is determined to see this game through. Respect.

10:05 in the VOD, Scorch drank SO much vodka that his character literally stood at a 45 degree angle. Like imagine the Michael Jackson lean, that was Scorch.

That, "GREETINGS" about 3 minutes in. That lasted in stream for about 2 hours. Thus making nearly all of that footage unusable. It was quite funny.

Bean's Big Day Out ! Fun fact, chat had SO much sympathy for him that during the next session, it was decided to give him a mount, and he ended up with the ONLY albino elk on the server. Bro was honestly the unsung hero of the story because he basicaly fed ALL of Ren's nations.

And yeah, Cypher ACTUALY developed a cripling migraine from all the Greetings, he litteraly did that for no joke more than an hour XD

The elves did get paid for the Guild Hall construction... in Onion soup and Onion pie... (Yes, Salmon Boy is evil)

Jay REALLY didn't says much about the whole shingle drama, but basicaly, he spent LITTERALY hours mining clay, and making THOUSANDS of shingles for the town hall's roof, and bring them to the dwarves because they had a keiln to fire them. The way shingle firing works is that they take different colors depending of the temperature they get cooked. So Jay put the kiln at the perfect temperature he needed for the particular color he needed... Only for Greg, the dwarf that already killed him last episode by pushing him into the pit, to open ALL of the kiln's door "just to see what they were for", dropping the temperature and ruining ALL the shingles. Ngl, That was the closest we've seen Jay actualy crash out in a game when it happened. But at least Toten, the dwarf king, was also pretty pissed off by Greg's shenanigans, and he sent him on a lonely penitence run to get clay, and they remade all of them for free.

And yeah, Wrenn ended up becoming the elves assassin and... no joke, she was a BIT scary xD

"what's a balrog?"
>I immediately have a small aneurysm because my oshi apparently hasn't seen Lord of the Rings
Syd, please, you've never cut me so deep 😢

I loved the insanity that was the Anvil Arena. Literally dwarves trying to forge some weapon while getting pelted with rocks is literally so dwarven coded. I'd imagine this is what the actual dwarves in the Lord Of The Rings would do when they're bored 😂

Bean’s Big Day Out😂

I just find it so funny how the relationship of Jay and The Elven King is so casual that he can directly go "You fuckin' bitch." to him for a failed assassination.

Like, compared to most fantasy kingdoms, that's just so chill and hilarious. The scenario of "The Elven King tried to have me assassinated, but I survived. Now I am going to the Elven Kingdom to take my revenge." can fit any classic fantasy story, and here it's just slapstick comedy.

Whats funny about Wrenn, the elven assassin who kept stabbing rubix, is that she stabbed basically anyone within arms reach (with the exception of the elven king) but her knife was a really weak iron knife and she kept trying to stab people in full plate/scale armor. Which means she almost never did damage, and was really just slapping people with a knife. (She does eventually get a better knife that wont get mentioned later, but she ends up getting a steel knife and enchants it with harming 3)

What Jay doesn't show at the end after Bean makes it back to the tavern is that he manages to stab Bean by accident with his Sword of Level Five Smiting and kills him

17:18 In his room, (this is NOT a spoiler as it never makes it into the videos, VOD only) Brem was unironically praying to Cthulhu to turn lead into gold. I'm not using Cthulhu to exaggerate what he was praying to, he actually had a Cthulhu statue in his room which turned various metals into gold.

15:22 - Due to being a pacific islander I have a blood feud with the strange bright god in the sky, so that being dying every day earlier is seen as a blessing.

48:26  the rust bound mod is what made it impossible for the elves to survive at the start they had to remove it to make any progress

11:00 I think Jay was pretty smart there because most likely most of them are gonna die before they finish so you don’t have to pay them and then you can just finish the rest😂

Foolish knife ears not respecting the cold! XD

That mpla line at the beginning is from black ops 2’s first mission. god I played call of duty world at war, black ops 1, and black ops 2 campaigns way to much but they were so good and I’d argue it’s the best cod campaign trilogy.

BEANS BIG DAY OUT

First Jay drops the newest "Torched" Vintage Story video, and in the same day Syd drops another world of Ren react? YIPEEEE!

Also I could NOT stop laughing at Cypher. Because not only could you tell where he was because he was screaming GRRRREETINGS constantly, but you could be mid-conversation with him and sudd- GRRRREETINGS
LMFAO 🤣
