⋆｡°✩ If you wanna catch me live and vibing, check out my Twitch~! ( Live NYAO and TOMORROW at 3:30PM EST!! ) 💜💜Thanku so much for the love ! ! 🐱✨I cant be the only one who got a lil emotional ;o; Ren is over aaaaaa

15:43 May God preserve your sanity if you ever decide to find out the lore behind "Fish News".

I find it funny that in the VOD's for the new series Torched, they desperately try to avoid tropes they've already done and are mostly successful. Even the basically-dark-elf-coded faction is far more unique in their machinations.

Except for the MANY times where the more things change, the more they stay the same. Case in point is sheep boy being a businessman and "Big Day Out" haver again being a farmer despite avoiding it.

1:20:26 Wrenn was never actually a dark elf, she was just a really edgy wood elf, and she was actually one of 2 women on the server, but the second girl, Maru, only managed to get on for like, 2 total hours, not long enough to make a house. Although, Maru is actually in a lot of Rubix's other videos, primarily Arma.

Ratthew Squeakem's machinations leading up to this massive war and the quest to slay the evil Elf Wizard in his Space Tower to finish off this epic saga was just grand.

Honestly, the entirety of Ren can be passed off as a new fantasy series if anyone would ever put this into writing (either as a novel series or as a comic book series).

"As the wizard did fall, so the vile tower,
And yet so too the magic.
As a dream who no longer needs the dreamer,
The fantasy no longer needed men,
Nor true elf,
Nor underfolk,
Nor dark elf.
No more games to play,
No more mysteries to unravel,
Much as a vain woman's beauty,
Once tis gone no more reason to give chase."
- Excerpt from a translated elven poem upon the shattered remnants of a dark elf's skull

Ratthew committed fraud to finance the creation of the armor, so in defaulting on his debt, the things he financed are repossessed

23:02 that was someones elk they sound eldritch if youve never  heard them before

Shovel was truly the GOAT of this series.

Long live the Dark Elf Shovel, may he forever walk the gilded path of rails.

And while the great race war was going on, I was making orange brandy and fruit bars from the comfort of my cozy lakeside tavern

Yet somehow they wanted to label me as "evil"

Also, no, Wrenn/Ren was never a dark elf, she just chose violence at every opportunity (on the second to last session of the run, I  enchanted her jezzail with Harming V, immediately turning her into one of the greatest dangers on the entire server)

13:15  what jay doesn't say is that every human had a positive kill death ratio ,meaning they might have been able to force a draw, until the dwarves covered their dead bodies (and therefore loot) with stone and basically just spawn killed them every time they tried to get it back

1:22:18
Is elk calls. IRL it's a mating call, but in VS, it's just a noise cue that can help you locate your elk in the dark, OR absolutely spook the shit out of you, one or the other, no in-between.

Had a bad day today, but this tea kettle makes it significantly better. Thanks, funny cat lady.

Wrenn is my favourite secondary character, she just lives her life, tries to kill Jay, puts a bounty on the head of her King, very chill

11:45 Obligatory timestamp of Scorch being a sword saint XD

15:38 I'm so glad that Chunce Whatney isn't the one presenting for Fish News for once XD

Squad I am so deep in the Torched vods that for a second I was genuinely like “who the hell is ‘toten’ that’s Scotty.” For those who don’t know, in the new series the guys are all playing characters with actual names (they even changed their player names in game) and it’s honestly so peak. There are some absolute banger names I can’t wait for people to see

And thus the saga of ren ends, the impact of ratthew was generational, and perhaps shovel was a true prophet all along it seems. Now it is time for torched my personal favorite of jays vintage story series so far and the most ambitious project yet…She must yet learn of the wisdom of Old Man Chu’dd truly the “wisest” person left😂.

In all seriousness can’t wait for you to join the journey of torched with us, it’s so much fun and jay put a whole lot of love and work into the project with custom lore, more rp, more people, and jay showing us he truly yearns for the merchant life.

8:26 You got confused there HEADPATS
11:58 Rip and tear Scorch, until it is done
16:01 Oh yeah, the rat stole the dwarf throne
22:25 o7 for Bean, he was absolutely yoinked, gone in a second
25:17 She is an assassin for a reason
28:41 I love that timing, immediate game crash after the warlock's sentence
31:07 Just a casual sniper on the roof, on the warlock's judgement
34:50 Fair and valid
46:43 And so, tower of the warlock is finally in view
50:55 Wrong place, wrong time squirrel o7
52:29 I think it's just a decoration
57:33 I love how cinematic Jay made this moment, just beautiful
58:44 I mean, he kinda does
59:22 There it is
1:04:56 Vermintide time, yes-yes
1:09:28 He was a true Skaven 🐀💚
1:15:03 THE Door
1:15:48 "Akur Akir Akam" is dwarven, meaning: "Champions are rewarded by Fortune!"
1:24:41 I love how far they've gone
1:26:51 Yeah, it's a beautiful song
I loved this journey of Ren, can't wait for the next one with the post apocalyptic solar storm's :_sydLove:

29:06 ................. ........ ................................ ... FORESHADOWING!! Every freakin time rofl!

Jay is currently streaming Torched (The new vintage story series) and working on the vids for it.(One vid is out currently) So i'd say it's a good time to watch his Voices of the void series while the other vintage story stuff is being worked on and then you can come back after Voices of the void to watch Torched.
