When I was in college in Vt. Our landlady had a mint 1952 Buick in the garage. It hadn’t been used since her husband died . She told us that if we got it running she would register and insure it if we could go riding in it. We did and every Sunday she and four of us who had rooms there would go out for a ride 😊🎩

That car is well worth a restoration. You just can’t find those. You guys would be super stars pulling into car shows.

THIS IS STEVE that sent you the spark plug cleaner. I wanted to thank you for showing this in your video. And also for writing the thank you at the bottom. It really nade my day, week, month and year. Almost a celebrity. I imagine sales of these will skyrocket, vut Harbor For stopped selling them, but still on Ebay   Hold it for 20-30 seconds total. It's been awhile since I've used mine, but I remember moving the silver handle for a better result.

I think you should restore that car. I know it takes money, but it’s rare rare rare rare. I used to my mom and dad used to have one and they are a great car those days. The roads weren’t very good but they still lasted so if I were you, I would get it polished up and interior fixed andbrake fixed. Get it roadworthy so I can drive it and enjoy it too. Deserve it. You can drive it in class, Delvin.

Hey Richard & Christina!  What I really like about What the Rust is Richard & Christina aren't two hotshots just going all out and out of their way and falling all over themselves trying to create feature films on their channel.  They're just a couple ordinary folks who are genuinely just trying to have some fun, gosh darn it! 😆 Some good old fashioned fun doing something they enjoy.  There's no movie magic here, no frills, no bells 'n' whistles here.  Whatcha see is whatcha get!  What's on video here is what really happened in "real life" and it's fun to watch.  And Richard's brother's channel is very low key, quiet and relaxing also.  Another guy just trying to enjoy his hobby, and him with his cats also!  I can't wait to see what you two get your mitts on next!

That's so cool.  I had a 52 when I was 17yrs old. Didn't have a reverse but I drove it everywhere.  The straight  8 run so good. Started up every time. If I remember right  it was light green with white top. Glad you got her  running..

My Dad would have loved this car, he was a Buick man for sure .

My grandfather ran the body shop for Howard Buick in Oakland through the war till ‘50. He told me a lot of stories about those cars.

My father had a 1948 Roadmaster convertible that he drove till 1965. Your '49 brings back memories! Same radio antenna. Wipers were vacuum driven so when you floored it they would stop. Thanks for the video!
