I liked the way you reused the original nails as much as possible.

"A little deformation ... without exaggeration" sounds like a Gilbert and Sullivan line!😺

What a fun piece to watch being restored!  I've never seen a cash box like that.  Great job!

I love how it still has that old feel to it.

A talent that knows no bounds.  I am always gratified how you bring the old and restore every piece.  Now if only you could do that with people!! Best regards.

At first I thought that was a church offering box. Beautiful restoration job. I especially liked leaving in the little dents and such. You gave that piece some beautiful character.

Lovely! I love the old character of the box!

I loved watching him do magic with any wood.

You have such great craftsmanship especially in blending the old with the new. The new parts look like they were always there. Great job! 👏🏻👍🏻

I've got to admit, I was just about to give up on this restoration until you did place the handmade nails back in. The whole assembly time I was "Oh, come on! Surely you going to put them back!" LOL. And you did. Perfect restoration.

That's a interesting old piece.  I'm a old lady and have never seen or heard of one of these.  I can't wait to see the finished product.

I love it when the piece is still old, imperfections and all 😊

Nicely done!  Another piece of firewood saved from the wood bin!

Absolutely stunning , and what a great money box lol .❤

I was so happy that you reused some of the original handmade nails.  What a precious piece!

This is a charming piece! You did a remarkable job restoring it! I LOVE how you left so much character in the wood and added some artificial wear-and-tear to the new drawers! You even used the original hand-made nails!!! This is a work of art! Thank you.❤❤

Beautiful restoration. You kept its character yet renewed its look. What a lovely piece!

The new drawers did blend in quite well. Great job!

Great job! Always a pleasure to watch you work!

Great job bringing that back to life again. Well done
