Wow, when you took it out of the box I thought it was the woodworm holding hands keeping that box together

Awesome job. You did an excellent job repairing this box and I’m happy that it’s cat approved.

The piece was an hour away from self-destruction! You have given it another 125 years of use. I do not restore furniture so I will never use the skills you demonstrate but I love knowing how it is done. Also helps to be able to recognize what is going on on older pieces…such as those hinges. Interesting. You did a wonderful job creating the boxes. Love it!

Not many people would take on such a renovation. Great job!

My ancient Turkish might be a little rusty, but the saying inside the lid appears to be " curses upon those who disturb the sleep of these many, many woodworms" 😮

You literally brought the dead back to life. Excellent work. :hands-yellow-heart-red:

You must read it downward,I can’t read the first word but the second word means government or empire and third one means ottoman,it’s something related to ottoman empire.

the translation of the written on the in the inside chest which is written in arabic is (Ottoman State Chest)

Wow, I can't believe how much you were able to save!  Amazing .  A piece of history.  Your detail was just  stunning.  Your gate is solid and isn't going anywhere either!  Wonderful!

Loved seeing the old hardware handmade. Thank you for creating this interesting content.

Amazing. Thanks for saving as much of the original as possible

Beautiful workmanship young man. Enjoyed watching, didn’t think there was much hope for the piece when you started.😊

What an amazing difference you have made to this box. Worth all the time and care you put into it.😊

It's lovely. I really thought the chest was beyond saving, but you did such a fantastic job with it. And, yes, that hinge is VERY thick, but you can be certain that door will never sag again.

I had serious doubts when I first saw this worm eaten treasure. You did a nice job of restoring it.

Very nice, I'm glad you saved that wonderful old chest...........and I love your beautiful cats.

Never seen hinges like those before. Simple, but they lasted quite a long time.

Thank you for the English subtitles
