This may be my favorite restoration you have done. Admittedly I’ve only watched your videos for a few months so I haven’t seen everything you’ve restored. I like this restoration because of the simplicity of the item but the artistry with which you restored it. I am confident that put side by side, the pre-restoration to the finished project, most people would not believe they are the same stool. The simple, elegant beauty of this stool makes it a prized addition to anyone’s home. Very well done mate. Very well done indeed. Your vision of what can be astounds me!

Oh, my goodness! The original builder would be in tears at how beautifully you have restored this stool.

That humble little stool looks quite regal.  Nice job!

Love when you restore something that everyone else thinks is junk. Great work!

You have a gift for making the lowliest piece of furniture look classy ❤

You made that poor little stool a beautiful swan... Lol unreal what you are can do !!! Great job

You need to be called the miracle worker because you totally brought this stool back better than it was originally made.

You took firewood and turned it into something chic and elegant. The brass was a stroke of genius

From looking like trash, to looking like it should be in a museum, such deep rich tone, and love the four metal accents.

I appreciate that you aren't afraid of a seemingly hopeless case.

Is it weird that I actually started crying at the before/after reveal at the end?  This reminded me so much of the times that I would find a discarded piece of furniture and my Dad and I would restore it... my Dad has been gone 13 years now... I miss him-- and the projects we did together.  Thank you for your beautiful restorations and your videos.

I love how in the last two videos you have turned what most people would consider firewood into lovely furniture. The transformations have been truly amazing! Kudos.

You show respect for the old and neglected furniture. My respect to you.

This stool was truly beaten up and now it is beautiful!
I am so jealous of all your amazing tools!!!

The stool turned out gorgeous.  Love it like I always do.

Anyone else would have used that old stool as firewood. You gave it new life.

This might be your best work yet.  It's hard to believe this is even the same piece you started with!  It went from a dried up, rickety old thing to a work of art.  It's simply gorgeous.

She’s beautiful!  Who would have thought you could make that typical stool elegant!  The brass was a nice touch!

The color is gorgeous Jay! Amazing job!

Someone commented that seeing the finished stool made them cry … it did the same for me.   It left me speechless 💕
