I just got my copy of CC Anniversary Ed. and this was a great tutorial! GMT should post this on their site and pay you guys.

You got the road bonus wrong. You just have to move on a single hex with a road to get +1 to your movement. You don’t have to begin and end on a road to get the movement bonus.

that's very helpful - thanks for the video! i appreciate that it's actual an play of the physical game, and you go through every detail!

This is the first detailed, step by step play through that I've come across with CC that actually uses the actual board game components rather than Vassal. Just got the game this week and after looking at other play throughs, this is the best I've come across.

I’ve been dipping my toe into War Games but have found the idea of Hex & Counter games very intimidating. Brian does an incredible job with the teach here and the playthrough is a great to see the rules in action. Great work guys.

Awesome video guys. Good job.

Excellent video, but the setup of initial units for Allied units has been wrong, as seen at about 1:14:30 ... The Allied (russian) are to be setup IN or ADJACENT to A2 and O1...

Ive watched this about 4 times in bits and pieces to get the swing of it. Very good teach and I'm now playing confidently. Thanks. the one thing I couldnt wrap my head around were the orders. Originally I thought it was -I order then you order. But if Id payed more attention to this vid Id have seen it faster.
Well done guys.

This is the first video I've seen from your channel, and I loved it! I was looking for a tutorial on this game (even ordered a copy) but I loved the energy you guys had playing.

The best CCE video I've ever watched. Thanks so much for all your work.

This channel is about excellent teaching consistently. I am genuinely surprised that there aren’t more subscribers, seeing the quality of the content.

At 57:38 there is a rules error (of omission) stated, but I notice that at 2:22:26 you correct this by showing a real live example of the exception to the rule. At 57:38 you state that when the Fire Attack total number equals the Fire Defense total number, the unit is always suppressed, however the Rule O20.3.4 second bullet states that if the defending unit is activated to Move (I would assume this happens during Op Fire?) then when the Attack and Defense values are equal, the defending unit breaks. So to summarize: if the defender is moving and a tie occurs, the unit breaks instead of being suppressed. Thanks for the video though, I'm enjoying it immensely!

Well done gentlemen, this is a very professional tutorial, and a fantastic way into this game!

This was awesome! So helpful in learning the game which has been sitting on my shelf forever.

What a great stream and I have just purchased the game , cannot wait to play. Great

@michaelmelen9062 8 years ago

This was very helpful. I've had CC:E, CC:M, and CC:R for several years, but haven't played them because I couldn't figure out the rules. And I used to play Squad Leader, Cross of Iron, etc. decades ago. Seeing experienced players make errors and still greatly enjoy the game is reassuring. So I've taken the big step: I've punched out the counters and set up the board. I'll replay this video along with my copy.
