For me, Tool is one of the best bands in the world. Musically, they're extremely complex, have outstanding lyrics, feature a charismatic Maynard James Keenan on vocals, and drummer Danny Carey is in a class of his own. Due to the complex musical structure of Tool songs, there are almost no cover bands.

Danny Carey hitting that snare like he caught it breaking into his house.

What a great song choice.

I refuse to believe these guys have never heard this song considering they review songs.

Maynard, here is what I'd expect to find in an old, abandoned asylum basement at three in the morning.

Sad for you all getting goosebumps watching 30 years ago instead of being there like me :) See the crowds, fully engaged, moving as one, not a single cell phone.

He just really means it

Crazy that he sounded this good without IEMs

Such an incredible song...The era was just awesome..these guys were savages

Maynard is a musical genius

@gosborg 50 minutes ago

That was a masterful rock performance, through and through, by the whole band.

Perfectly encapslulates the selfishness, deception and the self-deception, of addiction. Along with the pain and hopelessness, accompanied by the loss of identity and self esteem, that comes with watching yourself burn it all down again and again... helpless!🖤🏴‍☠️🚩

Vocal coach: 'I would work on his posture'. Don't, you'd end up with his, and never recover.

Extremely powerful to say the least.

Excellent compilation! I hate to admit this, but the first time I heard Tool, and this song, was in a sleazy strip joint in Carlsbad, CA. I swear, this was the stippers anthem song at that time (Ok, I went to a few of them from the Great Alaska Bush Company in Anchorage to a really sleazy one in the Red Neck Riviera in Florida, and far too many points in-between... it was a thing back then). Having said that, the song always moved me because it is soooo true. Thank you for putting this together! (reformed addict, but not sober- ha)
