WOW! Elsa was not only an incredible fashion designer, but a very smart business woman! Her savviness is what saved her business and helped it thrive through some very difficult times (the depression, and the wars.) Amazing woman.  I l certainly enjoyed looking at the dresses and suits that you took the time to record during the V&A exhibition. The embroidery and beadwork are fantastic. I think of all the hours that went into that needlework just for one suit or dress!

Oh Jane- what a glorious tour through these unbelievably beautiful pieces. The craftsmanship and skill to do the embroidery and bead work is incredible. The orange dress towards the end made me gasp when you panned up to the collar and sleeves. That is a dress I would love to wear!!

What amazing work was put into these wonderful garments.  The embroidery and beading is just exquisite.  I loved the dress with all the beaded keys on. It was just magnificent.  Such a wonderful exhibition to have visited.

Thank you! Elsa Schiaparelli caught my attention when I was going to college decades ago. My husband and I will be visiting England and Scotland just before this exhibit closes and I’ve got tickets. I’m so excited and watching your videos about this exhibit is making me even more so. Love your videos.

Haven't been able to watch for a while,  just catching up..

I consider myself an imaginative person but oh my, so many of those creations were just wild, almost a surfeit of visuals. I did love the dress with the swallows and I loved imagining Elsa herself wearing it. Thank you for putting together such a fascinating and informative glimpse of the exhibition.  I feel a bit like looking at some very plain clothes for a while,  just as a palate cleanser!😅
