Thank you for this, from those of us who don't live in the UK. This is all new and interesting to see.

This was so much fun to see Liberty of London. I had no idea it was so expansive! If I ever manage a trip to the UK, this is definitely on my list of places to go.

Wow. I’ll pop in next week. It’s amazing to see a fabric department expanding. Tresco is one of my favourite prints ever. I had it on linen several years ago when it was £25 per metre. I can’t afford today’s prices!

Thanks for that! I went to Liberty about a week ago, but I learnt more from your video than my attendance. I thoroughly enjoyed touching the beautiful fabrics. I did come away with a box of Merchant & Mills Entomology Pins for fine fabrics. ( last
of the big spenders)😂

Thanks for taking us on your Monday morning trip Rachel - the Liberty store is so special.
The last two fabrics looked good too, I also love McCulloch & Wallis. The black fabric draped beautifully - can’t wait to see what you make with it, it’s bound to look classy!

I love Liberty’s, never miss it when we come to the UK and Prospect Road my fave print. You’ve inspired me to splash out on a metre, perfect for a waistcoat. Thanks for the tour ❤❤

Finally! The beautiful fabrics get the space they deserve.

This reminds me why I have always held onto my old Liberty lawn skirts. They were my souvenirs from London trips back in the nineties. The elastic has held up fairly well but I don’t wear them often. I have mostly saved them for inspiration in my sewing projects.

Prospect Road on linen ❤ I can feel a reckless fabric splurge coming.

Here in Vancouver, Canada we are losing fabric stores and it's hard to buy patterns anywhere. I'm glad Liberty expanded their fabric department. It's a clear sign that sewers still exist in the UK. Buying fabrics on line isn't my cup of tea. I love to feel the hand of a fabric before I buy it.

Great video. I also popped in last week and was so excited by the expansion and new lines of fabric I had to have a lie down in a darkened room !!! Xx

Many thanks! It's a treat for those of us who cannot personally visit at present. Liberty is on my list! :D You have excellent taste- your fabric priorities make good sense. If I was to buy an expensive beauty like the Prospect Hill fabric, I'd make a small top or weskit of it too!
