Certainly one of the most beautiful fashion shows of 2026! Designer Michael Stewart gets his haute couture medal! We’re lucky enough to travel to London to visit his workshop. But we also head to Carrickmacross in Ireland to film the brilliant lace-makers who crafted the wedding dress worn by Kristen McMenamy. 5,000 hours of work! The youngest lacemaker is 21 and the oldest is 95! We set out to get to know these women who are keeping the lace-making tradition alive. The Vermont workshop is also taking part in Paris. Witness the birth of a new fashion house: Standing Ground!

What’s so special about Standing Ground is how Michael gives heritage craft such a contemporary vision. His work with these incredible Irish lacemakers shows the creative possibilities in skills passed through generations. Beautiful to see both the designer and the hands behind the work celebrated here. Thanks for bringing this important spotlight to this Irish creative Loïc! I also spotted the incredible Ena Quinn in your video, so great to see her featured too (one of the best producers in the world).
