portal lore in this day and age? i think i got in an accident cuz this must be heaven

Hey guys! This video is a bit of an experiment to see what direction I can take this channel. I still have a lot to learn about video production and things of its kind, but I hope you guys like what I've done here! -- Also, I realize that some nonimportant info in the video is incorrect. Portal 1 was released in 2007 with the orange box (Portal 2 was teased with an easter egg in 2010 so oopsie).

I like how it's never super specific whether Glados is a brain scan like in pantheon of if her brain is being preserved in some way. Given how cryogenic sleep can keep people alive for years on end in this universe and the world having a slight supernatural aspect on top of it's sci-fi base I feel like her brain could be preserved in some way. I think it also makes sense as to why she felt fear when being pecked by the bird and bringing out a mother-ish instinct with the baby birds and Atlas and Peabody. She still has some kind of organic component that procress fear, affection, and rage. And cave Johnson seems confident that the procress would put his mind into a computer instead of copying it too one. And it would make the genetic lifeform part of glados's name make more sense.

Portal 1 took place during Portal storm between HF 1 and HF 2 and GLaDOS kept aparture science safe from combine we can assume that Portal 2 GLaDOS became so much deadlier due to fighting expirence against Combine

"hey mom, i wanna be a test subject when i grow up!"

How do you only have 700 subscribers 💔😭

i love the mattpat style 👍👍

this was SO AWESOME! so many people always mention how GLaDOS is just an AI and it irks me so this was super fulfilling to watch, the editing and music was great as well!

portal content in the beautiful big 2026… thank you god!!!

This reminds me of the old game theory style and it looks great. To add on to your theory Glados’ design is partially inspired by a woman in a straight jacket hung upside down.

matpat style + one of my favorite and most personally influential games of all game? double nostalgia dose, subscribed.

This peak Channel is so underrated T0T

Damn bro, you deserve more popularity in my opinion

portal content still being alive makes me so happy, I love this sooo muchh
especially if it's Caroline/GLaDOS related, I live for the queen of Aperture!! 🗣️

Awesome
