Others are simply about chasing the last light of the day.
This ride was one of those.
With the Honda Monkey 125, I followed quiet mountain roads through the forests of the Asiago Plateau, climbing toward Monte Cengio as the sun slowly painted the sky in shades of gold and orange.
One of the highlights of the ride was the Salto del Granatiere, a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the Astico Valley. Beyond its incredible scenery, this place carries the memory of the First World War and the soldiers who once fought on these mountains, making the silence here feel even more powerful.
As the sun slowly disappeared behind the peaks, I stopped for a few quiet minutes to simply enjoy the moment before continuing to Forte Corbin. Although the fort was already closed, the journey itself was more than enough to make the ride worthwhile.
On the way back, just as the last light was fading over the Costo di Asiago, I had one final surprise... a hare quietly crossed the road, as if nature wanted to remind me one last time to slow down.
No rush.
No destination to conquer.
Just the road, the music, and one of those sunsets that make you wish the ride could last a little longer.
Sometimes chasing the sunset isn't about reaching it. It's about enjoying every mile before the light fades.

I do have one technical question.
You are using mirror bases designed to move the mirrors outwards for wide shouldered riders. Yours are pointing forward which seems to remove the benefits.
As a slender female the mirrors may be fie as they come.
I ride a Honda Grom and have increased the bend in the mirror arm which has the effect of placing them over my hands like a bar-end mirrors.
Love my Grom and looking at a Monkey. Perfect bikes if you are not a racer.
