Bought my Honda Monkey in 2023 and now have about 4,0000 miles on mine and at the age of 81 it is the perfect bike for me. My ridding is done after 9AM on week days to avoid the traffic and as soon as as it gets light enough to see on weekends. Do not have those great country roads like you do but still fun. Have the T-rex windshield, center stand and Man in the box rear shocks plus rear view mirror extensions. Also have a rear rack and small tail bag. Other than that is completely stock. Have no after market exhaust as the noise from those just is to much for me. Good video and scenery. Mine is the same color scheme as yours.

Thanks for posting this review.Last weekend I was over in the Isle of Man on my SV650 & met a couple of groups riding Honda Monkey bikes,had a good chat with them,they all loved their Monkey bikes & told me to get one & join the fun,now I'm doing my research as I'm looking at adding one to the stable.👍

An excellent review.
Mine was bought new in 2019 banana yellow with 14339 miles on. Most trips I do are around 100 mile circular loops. I don't ride in the rain and only between April and September/October..
Always cleaned after a trip particularly under the mudguards. It still looks perfect. I'm a spreadsheet nerd and record all fill ups. The statistics are:
Total gallons: 86.04. Total cost £549.38. Cost per mile 0.03p. Average mpg after 14339 miles 167.
I love it to bits.

I got a red Monkey nearly 2 weeks ago - I got a full bike license at age 17 but haven't ridden a motorbike for, well, decades! But I've really taken to the Monkey. I love the sound of the Yoshi but I also love how quiet the bike is in stock form - ideal for purring along my local back roads. Longest ride so far - 80 miles and only went out for 'a wee while' 😁😁

Damm that country side looks awesome. You are a lucky man to ride in such beauty. Wish I had places to ride like that . I live in Boise Idaho . Too many Californians have moved here and traffic is ungodly 😳. But I am buying a monkey anyway . To cruise the back dirt roads away from the masses (asses) 😅. I am turning 67 years old. Rode motorcycles all my life. But I am ready for a monkey. Loved your video. Had a Honda 50 trail when I was 15 to moto around the home place . Looking forward to joining the monkey family . 63k miles here.
Back wheel bearings and timing chain tensioner changed at 51k.
Nothing else.
Thing is awesome.
105 kilos and 6'3" here.
185mpg ridin'it nicely.

P.S. dropped front Fender, tidied rear Fender and stiffened original rear springs a bit.
And a magnetic oil drain plug + couple of washers under seat front bolts, because seat leaned forward abit too much to my liking.

I have the 2023 5 speed in the USA. I love this thing brings a smile every time. I also have a gold wing 1800. The battery is probably dead haven't touched it this summer. I can usually get 55-60 mph and im 205lbs. although my friends say I don't look right on it because I'm a large power lifter. But i love this thing.

I bought a 2020 monkey last May..a month later i bought a 2024, both had under 200 miles. Ride them all the time love them both !

I have 2 monkeys 2020 4speed 2024 5speed. I ride daily bought them used with under 200 miles love them both !

I did.nt want a high mileage bike like yours. So mine had 11 on. 😂 Now 9k. Love it. 6ft4 too. People always say knees must be under your ears. Then they sit on it. Always smile and can't believe how comfy it is.
