Happy hallow... Wait, I mean, Merry Christmas! Sometimes this movie makes it difficult to remember which holiday it currently is.

One thing I love about this movie is how well Jack's arc equates to a real midlife crisis.  Like, you see this new, shiny thing, and you have to have it, because having it will fix everything, having it will somehow fill that dissatisfied hole in your life.  But it won't.  Having that new, shiny thing or being that new, shiny person won't solve your problems.  What will solve it, I can't say, but connecting with the people who care about you is the first step!

What I loved about this movie is that it’s both Christmas and Halloween at the same time.

It’s unfortunate Disney doesn’t these kind of stop motion movies anymore.

Ah yes, a Holiday classic that managed to blend two special events in one film. 🎄🎅🎃💀👻

I personally see this movie as a masterpiece. It might has some flaws like you mentioned but so does every great story. Masterpieces don't have to be perfect for me.

Stop motion truly has something unique that makes it magic in multiple ways!

I recently got into Beetlejuice the musical and cartoon and wondered why I love it so much. Then I remember Tim Burton also made Jack Skellington, one of my favorite fictional characters of all time.

The only sequel we got was the game Oogie's Revenge for PS2 and Xbox. That game does go hard with the music, and I consider it a great sequel if it was made into a movie, too. RIP Ken Page. You made many people's childhood voicing Oogie Boogie.

Nightmare Before Christmas is so amazing from start to finish. One of my favorite movies ever.

one of my favorite movies of all time, watched it when i was young and i still watch it to this day! jack has a special place in my heart as a main character, and i fucking adore him so much

Jack not understanding Christmas is something I can relate to and loving Christmas is something I can relate to I want it for my own i never got a chance to celebrate Christmas but I think right now that’s all I can relate to jack as far as that goes Halloween as well those two holidays I love

The nightmare before Christmas is a holiday classic

I think what I love the most about Jack's arc is that it gives off the message of "its ok to try something new, and its ok when it doesn't work out, and acknowledging your mistakes helps you grow as a person. And that there is always something familiar to return to with new perspectives from your failed adventures."

personally I see Nightmare before Christmas having the messages of "don't try to be something you just aren't meant to be as all it will do is cause pain" along with "monotony is can be a difficult hole to crawl out" of and "Popularity is a double edged sword"
at the begining of the movie Jack's bored, he's been doing the same song and dance as pumpkin king for who knows how long, scaring the bajeesus out of people has lost its appeal. and then you realise that while everyone in the town adores him and does whatever he asks with next to no questions, he doesn't really have anyone in his life outside Zero, and there's only so much companionship a dog can give.
so it makes sense when he find out what Christmas is, with all its glimmer and shine,  he goes a little bit batshit insane obsessive trying to make it his own and wanting to rebrand his identity as a Santa clause to add some spice to his life. but when Sh*t hits the fan and he realizes that he can never be a spirit of joy no matter what he does he tries to rectify his mistakes.

and honestly Kudos to Santa being more Mildy annoyed than outraged as he should be getting his holiday hijacked but considering Jack realised he had F*cked up and F*cked up hard, Santa probably felt he only really needed a metaphorical smack on the behind rather than a full dress down scolding

Sally was really the only person who saw Jack as he was: a bored and lonely man just going through the motions of his life doing the same thing over and over. and out of everyone she was the most vocal and proactive at trying to stop Jack from making a huge mistake. she loves him for him and not him as the pumpkin king.

Absolutely love jack. Not only is his design great but he's also one of the most relatable Disney characters in my opinion. At some point we've all felt boredom or wishing things were different but we just gotta learn to appreciate what we have

I had just recently rewatched this movie a couple months ago in October, definitely a great movie for sure!

Always nice to see Rockotar come out with a new video. I can’t wait for the day Rockotar covers the cinematic masterpiece “Wagon Ho”.

This movie is so unique. The animation for this movie is so smooth, especially for stop-motion movies

Happy Holidays
