🔴 CASE SUMMARY: During the interrogation in the jury courtroom, the Public Prosecutor strategically conducted the defendant's testimony, exploiting contradictions, changes in version of events, and narrative lapses. The questioning technique led the defendant himself to compromise his answers, creating a "logical trap" effect that strengthened the prosecution's case before the jurors. The episode highlights the weight of interrogation as a means of proof and the rhetorical skill of the Public Prosecutor's Office in jury trials.

🔴 **RESULT**: The defendant was convicted of attempted aggravated femicide and arson in an inhabited house, after violently attacking his ex-partner who refused to resume the relationship. In the early morning of January 8, 2025, in the União neighborhood of Belo Horizonte, he assaulted the victim with chokeholds, punches, and strangulation, attempted to stab her with a kitchen knife, and only failed to commit homicide because the victim managed to react and neighbors called the Military Police. After the victim fled, the defendant set fire to the residence and was arrested in the act. The woman was taken to the hospital in a state of shock.
