Xpeng g6 looks nicer than VW and Tesla. After a long test between the Tesla Y and the G6, we chose the G6. The Tesla seemed to us to be much more nervous on the road.The G6 has many more advantages than the Tesla.

thx for the video. If you want to have the sat nav in the drivers display you have to long press the roll on the right side of the steering wheel and than the arrow buttons above it.

Really enjoyed this review William. If it’s on our leasing list when I come to change I’ll definitely take a look. With that charging the drive from South Wales to the Outer Hebrides (where we often have our summer holiday) would be a breeze.

Agree the looks are a little nondescript but I really don’t mind them. Not keen on the look of the steering wheel. Lack of frunk not a problem. Would like tie downs in the boot but that’s because the dog travels in the boot when we go on holiday. That charging speed is a game changer for longer distances.

What XPENG did with G6 is just amazing, tried it here in Slovenia and it's just awesome, all the tech, assistance systems, AI and the platform is amazing.
And definitely the interior feel is like higher level cars.
Can't wait to see you Thomas getting in the new P7+ for longer test

Hi William for a good review. I got this car in silver with the light grey interior. There are 2 important things that were important to me in addition to the fantastic price of 358.000 NOK, namely 7 years warranty and V2L. Tesla has 5 years warranty and no V2L. In 20 months the Norwegian state will charge around 7000 euros for this car. So expect to pay at least 40k euros even in Norway after Jan-2028.

Only if it had a option for different seats… the one in the car are with really short base and they lack front lifting option which was going to make it better

It’s about the same price in Australia. No import duties due to free trade agreement with China. Just 10% VAT.

actualy in july 2026 in SR (slovakia) tested car is for 45K euro and tesla Y basic model is around 42K euro (you have to change the wheels to 18inch) .. so it has to be the competitor of Y...
