The Ability of Choice - An Entire inFAMOUS Retrospective

KC Deku

19,010 views

This is a compilation of every inFAMOUS video I've made going back to 2023. This video includes retrospectives on:

inFAMOUS (2009, PlayStation 3)
inFAMOUS 2 (2011, PlayStation 3)
inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood (2011, PlayStation 3)
inFAMOUS: Second Son (2014, PlayStation 4)
inFAMOUS: First Light (2014, PlayStation 4)

Unfortunately I never played that one obscure inFAMOUS web game that came out in like 2010.

Thank you all for watching.

0:00:00-0:55:23 inFAMOUS (2009)

Growing up i always assumed infamous was just an unknown game only i played but im so happy that i now know so many people share my love

With all the Infamous easter eggs that Sucker Punch put into Ghost of Yotei I have a lot of faith that they are teasing a remaster/remake. Cole McGrath deserves some recognition as in my opinion he is up there as a character with the likes of Nathan Drake and Kratos.

Man, seeing this video, made me pick up infamous again. It is truly the best superhero franchise (1 and 2) not coming from a comic book.
I love them.

Who else is here after the rumors?

@CyberShogunX 9 months ago

To answer your question about Moya and her whereabouts. Leading up to infamous 2’s release, was a mini comic book series from DC comics that tied up everything that happens after the first infamous and leading into infamous 2.

@SakiProd 2 months ago

i swear to god if they had given them a year or two more of development time for Second Son it could have been the best infamous game 💔💔

@ryukopoolpeacemaker228hd9 9 months ago

Infamous will always be in my heart

The invincible-type cutaway when you said “fuck I still love” and then cut to the infamous title was fire not gonna lie lol

@YQxTHExGREAT 9 months ago

Ok fine I’ll replay them for the 18th time again🙄😂

@andileseditz 2 months ago

Lucky you At least you've played these games I'm obsessed with them but I don't have a PlayStation so I've never played Infamous

I have faith that Sucker Punch will re-visit this series one day. A reboot would be so dope

I think video games help up alot when we are going through grief, i played Ghost of Tsushima after my mom passed in 2021 and Jin’s story helped me process and learn to heal from the pain. It’s one of the reasons I love gaming it lets you interact with a story and evoke emotions in a way no other media form can.

To answer your question about why the game is called inFAMOUS when you are supposed to be a hero, the name of the game is a play on words, hence why the 'in' is lowercase and all other letters are capitalized, it emphasizes that you can be famous or infamous

@BloodandlatexFX 5 months ago (edited)

So the reason Cole feels kinda bad in non karma related cutscenes is because the intended ending was the evil ending but sucker punch saw that a significant majority of players chose the good path and so they course corrected to make the sequel pick up from the ending most people got

@megamanpkz 9 months ago

i dream of an infamous 1 remake, getting the platinum again would be so fun (also the game could run far better then it did back on the ps3)

@tzimiscelord8483 10 days ago

40:29 I like the way you dance around this that was pretty cute

@SynchroUEHLNFX 8 months ago (edited)

If they are not going to do infamous games anymore, at least use the karma system in their games. It's such a cool and fun system. The choices you make either good or bad changes you and your abilities. It's peak. They should use this in their ghost series. Very informative video. Thanks for the great video!

Dude, my uncle got me into gaming, he ALSO got me into infamous as a kid, i was so taken back by what you had said in the beginning. Thank you so much for making me think about that past. I love this channel, a newfound favorite or mine. Genuinely never stop doing what you love please.
