I joined educator Lex's anti-misogyny livestream and debated a misogynist live. His ideology fell apart in minutes. Not because I was louder. Because I wouldn't let him pivot. In this video I break down exactly what happened using Mehdi Hasan's debate rules: don't budge, force them to answer the direct question, mock the absurdity, and expose the contradiction.

Talking to these guys is like taking a piece of paper and dousing it in water — keep pressing and it dissolves.

It's sad that wanting to be treated like a human is being mean. Then you are accused of hating the person who is oppressing you. It's insane.

I'M SOOOO BAD! 70 yrs old, childfree, single and celibate. I've hit a trifecta ladies! And while I'm waiting for the loneliness and regret to kick in, I'm continuing to enjoy my life.

Imagine him talking to a male stranger and saying why aren't you more loving lol .The entitlement is at an all time high

The “women need to be held accountable” thing is one of the creepiest.

Misogynists also aren’t used to be around a smart woman—or smart men either.

Men has to realize women don’t need leader. They need partners and mutual respect.

Why is he panicking over extinction of humans? There is over 8 billions of us populating the Earth! Doesn’t look like we are going extinct at all!
He’s ridiculous

This is true for anyone who opposes any social justice movement. They have talking points they're used to repeating, but no actual arguments, so they dodge questions.

So, I did literally everything Right. Got a master’s degree, got married, had two kids, one is special needs. Stayed home with children at husbands demand/request/praise. At age 59, health problems, no income, being discarded and told to leave “with your clothes and 3/4 of the debt” while he makes 300k a year from my support and my parents loans. I promise you the patriarchy is Animal Farm.

Therese had him on the ropes from the jump. He sounded increasingly shaky and unsure. Men hate that. 😊

Was this even a debate? he can barely make a point to save his life. So boring! But love this series Therese

@olympiaelda1121 7 days ago

I really loved your point about them not having children themselves or adopting.

It’s just that women aren’t into HIM & he’s mad at women that he lacks everything appealing to any woman.

“Stop! Stop it! He’s already dead!” 💀

Some people have willfully accrued racist and sexist sludge in their minds but then they project that we're the sludge. It's in your heads. Fixing it is called introspection.

The thing is, these men KNOW that sexism makes women miserable. They THINK sexism is somehow necessary to keep our species from extinction, however, when half the adults are miserable and half the children will turn into miserable adults, the human species is continuing….for the male gender.

They’re just using the word HUMAN to trick women. Telling women to be reproduction slaves for men, in order to produce more men and more reproductive slaves for the maintenance of this cycle, doesn’t sound as good I suppose 😑
