Focusing on selecting the right clients rather than taking any job is useful advice

I think this is the best compliment I can give: the majority of "Video Editing" creators like you follow the same pattern - which is giving advice and intermingling their own private course in-between certain parts of the videos, which is COMPLETELY fine, as you SHOULD treat this venture as a business of course. BUT, what separates you from every other creator I've seen on the platform - you are among the 1% minority that is ACTUALLY giving very heartfelt, thought-through solid advice.

Summa summarum, the vast majority is making videos to sell their course (mostly pure recycled advice we've all heard), while YOU, Josh, are doing the exact opposite, and I respect you for that. Admittedly, I'm not watching every single one of your videos, but when I see it on my feed, I immediately click on it because I know the time I invest into the video will be worth it. Enough glazing, you're amazing. Keep doing what you're doing! :)

Was looking for your channel cause I forgot your name like 3 hours ago and since I didn't subscribe, I left it. Then this showed up on my home screen. I've subscribed

This is the first video I’ve watched and this is gold. Will definitely check out more and actually considering your course

I really needed this video

No way i made it into the video!!

loved it

For number 1, I would guess a reason the clients aren't booking again is because there's no path for them to setup a long-term relationship with you. You need to lead them and tell them what it looks like to work together in the future. Make it easy.

Hey josh I love your videos it helps a lot. I have problem finding right music for my videos if you could make a video on how you get your background musics and how to use the right music at the right time of the video of i would really appreciate it ❤

Hi Josh - how would I find an editor who’s taken your course or vet an editor? Obviously I’d love to use your services but couldn’t afford it

cool.

Hey Josh, when u say that Ai can replace adding captions, cut silences... Do you mean we should really use it for these cuz i always think that i should be accauntable for everything and i don't want no sloppy captions in my clients videos.

Looking for a video editor atm if you’d like to work side by side

Feel free to reach out if serious👋
