I think he used Dark Ruler first because one of the Traptrix's effects was to protect the backrow

The Traptrix monster, in lore, use pheromones to trick people into seeing those forms; Helpless maidens, people in need, ect. All to lure people in, to make them drop their guard to assist. When they get close, the real monster feeds.

14:15 incorrect, joey played properly, if he didn't dark ruler first Aracnocampa would have protected his backrow cards from harpies feather duster.

"Anytime Maxx C resolves, you lose"
Me, a Runick Fur Hire player: Challenge Accepted. Prepare to die.

Weevil would've won if he didn't do pot of desires. That's what he gets for having no hand trap protection.

I love how bith Yugi and Kaiba play tier 0 decks. Snake Eyes and Tearlaments respectively

14:16 the spider traptrix monster protected the back row from destruction. He needed to play DRNM first in order for HFD to actually resolve properly

You missed the second episode of the series, where Yugi duels Kaiba

Great video here.

The edit from Monogatare on Weevil lines makes his 🐻 file so much worse 😂😂😂😂

Max c is not an Instant win, there are ways to play around it, its just not easy if you aren't prepared

One thing I find odd: Joey would've ran out of life points before Weevil runs out of cards, but Joey has 7000 LP and takes 300 damage per attack. This would make Joey die on the 24th attack. Meanwhile Weevil still had 30 cards in his deck. (2 maxx c draws in main phase, myrmeleo search, sera summon from deck, pudica search, 5 card opening hand, assuming a 40 card deck)
I don't think I'm missing anything.
And Weevil even says: "An infinite loop that only stops when Wheeler runs out of life points, or I run out of cards."

Edit: I forgot about the pot of desires (and the kaiju draw)!
This removes another 13 cards from weevils deck meaning 17 or 18 attacks with colossal warrior are necessary to deck weevil out. With 17, it would be the draw for turn. So Joey loses 5400 LP leaving him on 1600 by the end of the duel.

Those cards still feel illegal

some archetypes were a mistake😭
