Sakurai knows about Crafting Tables and the Nether, despite not knowing what Minecraft is.

“Four special moves, with ONE button”

Hero: pathetic.

"Now that's what I call the power of DLC"
"Now that's what I call the power of bullsh*t"
these lines are absolute gold

“The most spammable up-air in the game.”
Mr. Game & Watch would like a word.

sakurai knows steve is actually a god

“You brought up Meta Knight. What made him broken?” “Good recoveries and the power to glide” “Ah yes, let’s let Steve glide too. That is my VISION”

@amazingfireboy1848 4 years ago

Sakuri's thinking: If everyone is broken, nobody is.

@SalixCat7 4 years ago

Nintendo forgetting that sakurai added 23 different moves to 1 special with hero

@hastykai2073 4 years ago

Plot twist: Sakurai wanted Steve to be as despisable as possible so everyone stops playing Minecraft and Smash becomes the best selling game.

Up to this point, every single video was canon, but sadly not this one.

I just want to remind everyone that Sakurai is one of the Minecraft OGs and i love him for it.

Think of any broken moves that exists/existed,

"Let's give it to Steve."

@teddyjenkins4 4 years ago

"Imagine playing final destination."
"Ok..."
"And now it's battle field!"
"What."

2:31 They talk about Sonic having less moves and steve having more moves, yet they are the only ones in S tier 😂😂

Wait so Steve has:
- 4 neutral b’s.
- Best edge guard in the game.
- Side b has super armor, and is a speeding grab.
- Can platform camp ON A STAGE WITH NO PLATFORMS.
- Diamond tools do insane damage and kills very fast.
-He has an anvil that kills fast, can mine on, and can jump off of.
-Can place blocks in mid air. (Is it possible to place blocks midair in Minecraft?)

I actually never knew he had 4 neutral b’s that’s crazy.

2 days after sakurai sees this: “changed his recovery, now he can react out of it…. Like meta knight.”

this is my vision

7:35 "See? Now it's broken." 🤣 The way he acknowledged it.

Sakurai actually wrote an essay on Minecraft, he seems to have a good understanding of the game's appeal. Guy doesn't get enough credit for both his endless, tireless work and knowledge of good game design.
