Are you thinking about buying an Electric Car? Is owning an EV the future? We are all being told that owning an Electric Vehicle is the future. What's it like to own an EV and is the Charging Infrastructure in place? If you are wondering what the reality of owning an EV is like then join me on my journey in my All Electric Porsche Taycan from Mansfield Nottinghamshire in England to Glasgow in Scotland and I'll tell you the truth about Electric Cars and what it's actually like to own one. Believe me once you watch this video, your mind will be made up about EV's. Along the way I'll show you what a complete farce it is and how much time you actually waste charging your EV on an Infrastructure that's not fit for purpose.

At least with a lease you can trade the car before the battery dies

Wait until these evangelist run out when power cuts happen. What will they do then, they are then boxes on wheels, left on the streets, strippable by anyone, ripped to bits!!no answer to this.

A Daf is similar to drive with multi belts

The battery, the battery, is the weak link everytime! Every electric battery is dangerious!!

@David-fj5lz 2 years ago

Wait until those batteries start to fail as time will rot those batteries then wil have to pay twice, first to replace, second to dispose off!! IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO? What do you do when no one will insure them, which Insurance Company or even their underwriters will dare to chance a million pound claim which will result in many Insurers going bust!!?

Never buy an “ELECTRIC lawn mower” this will be similar, majority of the time parked up and only used occasionally, the rest a waste of time!!

Lee must like EV's. He spent 120K on his. What he doesn't like is the inconvenience when traveling long distance and not charging at home.

Welcome To Glasgow. If you have the time visit Ghiloni's Cafe for super fish and chips a couple of miles outside Glasgow.

I love your vlogs. I am an occasional EV user, and I belong to the Co-Wheels community. Great idea. I have experienced the issues you have talked about. Children allegedly mining cobalt may be the sole wage earner in a family.
EV pollution is because of the extra weight; there is more asbestos and rubber dust pollution in the air in the air.

Funny how soo called conspiracies theories become true over time.
UN (United Nations) Agenda 21 and UN Agenda 2030 has been freely available for years telling you what they have planned for us all for decades. Also the WEF (World Economic Forum) also freely tell us what they want to do to us like 'You'll Own Nothing and Be Happy'. The WEF had billboards advertising this fact across London...no joke.

The hydrogen molecule is very small. The main problem is that hydrogen will need to be produced on site. Hydrogen is very harmful to the environment. The bottom line is that it's not viable at this time.😢

If you think your charging infrastructure is inadequate ,I live in Australia and we are also being forced into EV cars .If you put a map of Australia over the top of Europe, with the far less charging stations than the UK has you will see the problem here.I live in a small country town,No chargers and no EV cars here only the odd Tessla passing through looking in vain for a charger!.The distance you can travel here and see nobody or anything is mind boggling,run out of charge here and you can be in real trouble.
