Notes
- As usual, the history of how the monsters were discovered is embellished by me. In-universe, Brachydios was first sighted by the Argosy Captain (the lone shipman briefly alluded to in this episode) in MH3U while Raging Brachydios was indeed discovered after consulting the Aged Texts in MH4U.

Raging Brachy's entire segment gave me chills, I loved the emphasis on the fact it's practically screaming "IF I'M GOING DOWN, YOU'RE GOING WITH ME" the moment it triggers the final phase.
Definitely buying the new stuff from Guild Surplus too, amazing work and keep it up!!

I will never stop glazing monster hunter developers from trying to make logical explanation for a monster's abilities it's so awesome

despite not being a particular favourite of mine raging brachy having a "only one of us is walking out of here alive" final stand gives it possibly the most aura of any monster that isn't just a straight up elder dragon

Oh you! How did you know I was hungry for more mh lore today?

my headcanon for why raging brachys decide to just crash out everywhere is to rid the entire species of a threat. same way cape buffalo end the life subscriptions of any lion cubs they find, "rid the threat now for the sake of us all." it's just that raging brachy is a little late to the birthday

If you listen very carefully, you can hear Josh from RageGaming fangirling in the distance

I was literally just watching Unnaturally History Channel's Brachydios video when this gem popped up in my notifications. What a good day.

"It is a tough life, exposed to the most vicious elements of our world all alone- or at least, mostly alone."
Lmaooo the way he said that makes me feel so bad for Brachy

Brachydios is such an amazing monster! He's is one of my favorite flagship along with lagiacrus and seregios!

The intro to the lore was geat, kinda felt serene. I would love to get the map, but there is no more space on my walls.

An ecology episode about Brachydios? I could almost explode with excitement.

1:15 ah, aka Oceaniz bathwater

Only Elder Dragons have vocals in their soundtracks, with the sole exception of Raging Brachydios, of course.

In this corner, standing at 1,636 cm and weighing in at (I’m assuming) 1,000+ pounds, they’re the Big Bang boxer, the Pummeling Pugilist of the world, the monster who always has a blast on the battlefield…

BRACHYYYYYDIIIIOOOOOOS!!!

you always find a way to make me even more invested in monster hunter lore

wait so the green thingy is called pounder so if my friend is getting absolutely humiliated by a brachy hes gunno tell me tht he got pounded by it?

God I love Raging Brachydios, one of my favorite fight in World, plus the OST is a banger

Brachydios is my favorite Brute Wyvern. Its design is so cool and I like its ecology. Great video, can’t wait for a Gore Magala video
