PLEASE watch the full video before commenting, I more than likely cover whatever you didn't get to.

On another note, big thanks to Pyseph for letting me interview them! They were a big help in this video, which is now my longest commentary video on the channel, so I'm happy it came out well! Subscribe if you enjoyed, there'll be a lot more to come

.001% drop chance, on a trait crystal so u can gamble for a .01% trait. Ion wanna hear nun from devs

if i remember correctly the original All Star Tower Defense had almost no macro needed in order to fully enjoy the game, if a stage was hard and u were able to beat it through strategy or just being strong enough then the game was like "ok here is ur guarenteed reward"
that kimetsu no yaiba stage where u originally got the rage orb from was hard but man... no need for macro once u completed it just once and that honestly felt very rewarding
good ol' times

Maybe if anime TD games didn't spam 0.000000000000000000000012% drop rates, people wouldn't need to macro

0:36 LET HIM COOK

Bee Swarm sim has been doing this for so long and i didnt even know about it. I would macro sometimes on tower defense games and my friend who played bee swarm told me about it. Those bee swarm kids are somehow worse than the td ones

Edit: funny how a few peeps took the word "kids" so personally 😭

macros happen cause of tedious boring gameplay and tedious luck reliant rewards. if they made gameplay more engaging like adding new mechanics and made rewards less luck reliant I think the game would have significantly less macro users. the best way to prevent macros/hackers is by removing the incentive rather than making it more difficult for them. I think the devs don't do this cause it gives the game a higher player count.

0.00001% of bee swarm simulators pain

not td related but i remember trying to learn/make a python script for fisch so that it detects the bar's different colors and track the center so that it'd click accordingly, dropped it like 3 days later, genuinely hats off to whoever manages or does all that shit.

just real, i miss AA days where everyones biggest macro was auto clicker on afk chamber

is that children of the city playing at the start? holy peak, u know ball

The best they could do is adopt The battle cats' system, requiring YOU to Improvise, adapt, overcome challenges since they aren't too reliant on you just having the meta, while the tutorial chapters (Empire of cats 1-3) lets you stall until your best unit spawns in, the latter don't give you that luxury by being brutal even after having the best units spawned

9:20 and now we have anime expeditions with 260k ccu on release

This was why the original All star tower defense was so ahead of its time the only thing you would've tiny tasked was battle pass XP (or the randomizer trial if you're lazy). And there wasn't even any incentive for image recognition because of the lack of rotating/hourly raids and rewards, and then the actual raids (before nuke powercreep) were almost impossible to solo anyway.

The prime td was astd with infinite mode, trying to erwin buff and use your light yagamis at the good time etc but they ruined their game

As someone who LOVES anime tower defense games this title is very true. I love playing games where i feel rewarded for being good or the best, but the last like almost 2 years I've not felt like I've even been keeping up with people let alone getting on leaderboards like where i used to stay. Now the first day of a td games release people are getting like over lvl 100 it's just insane. I'll never understand why dev actually add an Ingame macro, why would you want your players pressing 1 button and leaving their pc until they get what they want instead of actually appreciating you and you're whole teams work they spend days and weeks making. Devs need to stop catering to the lazy bum players that don't want to actually enjoy and like the games grind, but in conclusion it all comes down to devs simply don't care anymore. No dev now makes games because they ENJOY making games and do it for fun for people to enjoy, they all simply just do it for the money now, and sadly there's more people who want these horrible macros In the games so they'll never go away.

"roblox tower defense games" proceeds to only talk about anime tower defense games

bss is so much worse, but it doesnt get talked about enough. I tried entering into the game but after a certain point of the game its just macro

Not a tower defense roblox player here but I already feel like a newborn ipad fetus just for using autoclickers in playtime rewards/afk areas for like Dragon Soul and Sonic Speed Sim

Never knew that macro stuff have levels to it

1:30 THIS PART FRIED SO BADLY 😭 😭 😭
