This movie always brought me to tears because I grew up without a father. The man that my mom brought in was a terrible person. When I was growing up, always wanted to be a lost boy. So I can get out of the situation I was in.

love that actress Glenn Close showed up just for the boo-box scene 🤣

1. Rest peacefully to one of my faves, Robin Williams 🥹🤍
2. This version is the only one I’ll watch tbh

RIP, Robin Williams, Dame Maggie Smith and Bob Hoskins, for making this one of my favorite movies from my childhood.

Every year on the anniversary of his suicide I post the dialogue of Peter's last interaction with the Lost Boys. It helps me remember Robin.

Now imagine watching this as an 11 year old kid in 1991.
This movie still has a very very special place in my heart.

18:34 that's actually a woman. It's Glenn Close who played Curella de vil in 101 Dalmatians live action film

Not only is this the first Robin Williams movie that I have ever watched as a kid but also my all-time favorite Robin Williams movie in general. It has a very special place in my heart. ❤
Also, at the end of the movie, the kids didn't know who was going to get the sword. Their reactions are genuine.

Still hurts my brain that Rufios actor is the voice of Zuko from Avatar.

I always questioned why he gave the sword to Thud. As I got older, I realized it's because Thud put him on the path to finding his happy thought.

I watched the shit out of this movie as a kid, never realized it was considered a "flop/bomb" until a few years ago

I grew up with this movie! I started watching it when I was too little to remember. When this movie came out I was 3 years old. Parents have told me more than once that I would watch this movie everyday, because they would come home from work and it was always the same part of the movie. My grandparents were the ones watching me while my parents were at work.
