Star Trek Beyond, the third entry to this current series, is actually pretty fun, and was a bright spot in a horrible summer of movies. Still not perfect, so here are its sins.

Thursday: Another space movie.

Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

I believe Star Trek Beyond has the most Sins removed yet.

I like it when you can tell that CinemaSins genuinely love a movie. Sure, they are nitpicky assholes, but they are also moviebuffs. They point out the flaws, but they also appreciate when a movie is well done or has fresh ideas.

You know this movie rules when it gets many sins off for being awesome

Three years later and I'm still bawling over Anton Yelchin's death after watching this trio…

Hes not a master lock picker. Hes a doctor

@MarkLumsley 9 years ago

Is this the most that Jeremy has ever removed sins from a movie?

Lots of taking sins off.
I guess that means it is worth a watch.

It felt pretty fresh, creative and original on my first watch. Seeing as Simon Pegg co-wrote the script, that makes sense but still

George Takei actually was upset they made Sulu gay. It was because they only wanted to change it for marketing instead of making any of the new characters gay. Thanks to the people who told me the reason why!

To be fair, the scene where they used the music to destroy the swarm was the sickest shit I've seen all year.

3:11 "Inoperable" also means "not able to be operated". Its usage is correct.
3:28 Emergency force fields for structural integrity are standard on ships in the Star Trek universe. It's a separate system from the defensive shields.

Unfortunately Leonard and Anton already have gone beyond.

Even though it's 100+ sins, I've ever seen so many sins taken off, must be a pretty good movie

Missed outtake opportunity
"That's no moon. It's a Space Station."
"It's too big to be a Space Station."

You sinned the planet "luckily having breathable atmosphere" but when they analysed it they assessed it as M-class, starfleet classification for livable conditions...
