As the trigger disassembles itself, cold shivers go up my spine.....Well done Keith

This is a great video to keep as a reference on the Hatsan trigers.

Those things (Hatsans) are 95% the way to being pretty nice, If they could figure out the other 5% they would be more respected.

You are excellent and are amazing at disassembling and rebuilding but you really should use a far bigger cleaning patch you need to force through the barrel. That way it is getting squished into the rifling. You lose patches are barley touching the bore

I think I have one of these. It was my first big boy pellet gun and was advertised as having 1000fps.  Cost me about $80 brand new back then.

I know this one beats the hell out of any gamo I've ever had ... Simply because the steel breech

I had the one with horizontal lines on the front grip. More accurate than the Gamos.

Thanks for the video. I found one at a flea market for $60 just like it except that it has the plas 49:48 tic stock.
Im looking forward to cleaning it up inside like you have done.
Thanks for the video

nice looking rifle

You should have let's us here the action again.

Thanks for the info 👍

Solid work

Handsome gun

The Quattro trigger designed by Ivan Hancock of Venom Arms, and If memory serves  Ivan's trigger units were influence in design by the Record unit. The true quattro trigger is a strong over built unit far chunkier than the record. When Webley and Scott took over venom arms much of Venoms design work was incorporated into  the Webley air rifles in particular the Tomahawk and the Longbow.  On webley's demise the companies remains were sold to Hatsan. I don't believe  that there is anything of Webley Venom  about this airgun

That’s a lot of recoil for a large 12 ft/lb gun

Thanks - nice review
.
Yours(2007) is a bit different than mine(2002), especially the configuration of the stock.
I prefer the stock on your rifle over mine.

Mine(2002)
iron sights(post globe) which I prefer over FO
My scope rail does not have the stop. 🙁
Trigger - worse than a Mattel Cap Gun
OAL - 44 inches
7.6lbs - with no scope
Checkering - easily the worst I have ever seen.
Breech - pellets do not fit in, they fall in**. = I just got this rifle, so I'm going to try a few things
**in my 60+ years of shooting air rifles I have never seen such a thing.
Even with all that, the accuracy was similar to some of the groups you were getting and I only tried a few shots(5 or 10 each)
with two pellets(Crosman 10.5gr / RWS Superdome 8.3gr) of my 4 go to(H&N FTT / JSB Exact) - I'm thinking a heavier pellet(10.5gr or more) with a skirt that better fits that cavernous breech.
.
I only picked this up because it was $22(well, a total of $43 with shipping and whatever) and I remember around that time(1995-2005)* arguing about which was the better "$100" air rifle
I still think I was right about my choice and no, I will not give that info out, so, don't ask.
*If memory serves an RWS 34 was around $195 in 1995 / if that provides some reference.

I had one just like it. After I gave it the sauce it was really a great shooter

Hey,
I own a Webley VMX D-Ram which is also made by Hatsan.
I find it good value for money.
20fpe for under 200 bucks

You can make that 3x more accurate in less than 10 minutes. Go see what I did to the beeman 10609 from Canadian Tire. It works pretty much on everything. Ps. 13/64th for .177

That trigger is a bitch and you'll need an exploded diagram for sure .I have the daisy 1101 version .
