As a Frenchman I must point out that when a Legionnaire NCO says "not bad" (pas mal) it means "exceptionnally good" in french.

The fact that the Lieutenant said you would have been accepted had you enlisted for real is simply shocking and shows how much of a high level athlete Magnus really is.

Magnus: "the ladder climb is a lot harder than it looks"
Magnus: runs up the ladder.

man, to just try the special forces test with no intent to even join and still be one of the best at the end...
you got some bragging rights

Magnus is trying out all the militaries like they're on the menu in a restaurant

If Magnus doesn't post for 5 years, we know that they drafted him in their service

Magnus Midtbø no longer exist.
From now on we'll know him as Maurice Mailloux.

I love that the guy taking notes on the rope climb was using one of those multi-color clicky pens you use in elementary school.

LT. Oliviera giving you the patch off his arm is an extremely high honor Magnus! I am so proud of you brother.

Having a 2-star General telling you eye to eye that he was "very impressed" by your performance after this is the ultimate bragging rights.
You did amazing dude.

In the six years I was in the US military, I only saw one person receive an officer's patch. That is a high honor and a particularly honest one because there are no protocols or regulations for giving or receiving a patch. It is only done when you have genuinely earned the individual's respect. Congratulations Magnus!

As a retired French Officer, in charge of training when I was a Lieutenant in the commando de Monfort (marine special forces), I can say I was positively impressed by your skills and performance. You, being who you are, that was expected, though. You did not disappoint. Repos !

Not only being told that he's in the top 5 for recruitment, but also being given the badge, that is such a high honour. I salute you Magnus, you're amazing

36:40 "PUT THE BAG ON YOUR BACK!"
-> Magnus lies down on the bag.
LMFAO (I got confused as well xD)

One must also remember that Magnus was doing this at 36 years old.  That's what's most impressive.  He's keeping up and often surpassing those in their 20s!

46:54 Getting told „I hope you will sign up after“ by the general is quite an honor

This kind of content makes me feel like paying for Netflix is a scam.
You’re awesome Magnus, not only what you are capable of doing but also the quality of your videos keeps getting better and better.

That lieutenant was a true gentleman, what a great attitude

I take my hat off to his mindset, he's not bothered by admitting if something scares him or if he's fckd, but he still remains calm and keeps going

Whoever packed that pack Magnus ran with for both events did him zero favors, and not telling him to pull the shoulder straps as well was brutal
